took me an hour just to get the damn thing to work on pc, i feel many would just give up. tons of ugly screen tearing. in game vsync is broke. had to disable in game and enable in nvidia control panel. But had to do so in some unknown order combination with rebooting and turning off and on in game since i couldnt repeat the solution. basically its working good enough but still some tearing. also had to disable the dpi resolution option in the executable properties to get 4k to work..oh i also had to install a latest hotfix from nvidia even though the fix said it was for kepler cards i have win 10 and 1080ti fully updated. i guess bethesda doesnt test their pc game on win 10 or nvidias latest cards. Annoying.
@pcgameboy:Even though it's early code, the Xbox One X build we played runs almost flawlessly for regular missions at a straight 30fps. shadow of war native 4k from dig foundry. yes there was one section of the game below that....the benchmark of the 1070 you posted showed it hovered at around 32-30 fps in normal gameplay. no way its not also dipping in the same stressed area.... duck=1070=high end pc=XOX.
So seriously HIGH END does not mean the fastest computer ever. IT DOESNT MEAN A 1080ti. The developers are using high end to refer to computers with the latest generation video cards. XOX fits in that realm......If you tell someone you have a high end washer dryer....doesnt mean you have best ever means you spend some serious money. same goes with cars and ohhhhhhh computers..... its performing like a pc with a 1070 gtx in it.... thats $1149 right now on sale at dell.com.
$1149 pc is high end. not the highest. not budget. not even middle of the road.
@starjay009: your 980 cant come close to the x. you need to read more. i just read a kotaku benchmark high settings of rise of tomb raider that is avg 26fps min 19 fps for the 980. and at settings below what digital foundry tested xox at and performed better. It has been tested at least a 1070gtx of several games in depth by digital foundry. i had a 980 it could not do any 4k without sacrificing too much in visual quality. only the 980ti did i have some luck. the 1080 was really the first card i did 4k without looking back but now my 1080ti is actually quite boring as it just works at 4k. i dont have to mess with any settings really. based on what ive seen and ive had every card ever since the 980 including the titans the performance is exactly at 1070......on dx11 games....
@atn98: It performs like a pc with something between gtx 1070 and 1080 according to most tests. period. that is high end pc performance.it doesnt matter what is in the box.
Truth is high end doesnt mean the best(1080ti) and that is really the only card that is true 4k 60fps. a 1070 gtx is 500$ that is high end by anybodys standards.

@Fallenlords69: You need to try again. Every game in the last 3 years just automatically works with the xbox controllers....there is no configuring ever. I get you with the aim assist though. Games that dont implement that on pc alienate all controller users. like battlefront 1. destiny 2 has it on pc. smart.

star wars seems to be for kids. but kids that are under 10 years old....the reason ep 7 was so popular was because prequels were crap...anything is better than that crap...
