You know I've been asking myself for a while if games are still fun. The answer is no not for me. The kind of games I enjoy are getting fewer and further between. I don't like many new games anymore. My main dissatisfaction lies with everything to do with connecting my systems online. I don't like playing online I don't like day one patches or broken launch games I don't like DLC or micro transactions. I just want to kick back in my chair and enjoy an old school game experience without being gated off from content. The shit has even invaded single player games. If you don't pay up they make the game a grind. I'm sick of it all. Been debating whether or not I should just quit. I have other hobbies like fishing hunting going to the casino or bar.

I would have bought it or at least given it a try if it didn't have 7 expansions. DLC use to be an afterthought now it's just extortion content.

I have 300 PS2 games and 180 PS3 games. I would love an all in one system with enhancements. The only thing stopping me at the moment from playing them is I don't have room to hook up all my systems.

I love dark souls and fromsoft but I avoid anything with activisions name on it. It's almost a given that some how some way this game will be over monetized. Seeing how current triple a publishers like activision are focusing on recurrent user spending is enough for me not to even get excited for a game like this.

It not true. Old triple aaa game form 1990s fair not so well, too. Game like Rise of The Robot recieve much hype and shallow as can be. Movie game it rare when you can even play them.

What are you talking about? I own 600 games and I've never heard of the robot. In the 90's EA and Activision were nobodies. People didn't buy their games in mass like they do now. Most core gamers back then didn't buy sports games or movie games. People trusted brands like Capcom Konami Nintendo and Sega.
