I remember when the first Motal Kombat came out at the arcade in the early 90's. I'm not participating in gaming with these current business practices. Mortal Kombat 11 looks cool and I'd love to play it but I'm sticking to my guns even if it means I don't buy games. I use to buy 10 games a year now I might buy 1. As of late I've just been modding Skyrim and playing some KOTOR from time to time. You know the good old days before scummy business practices. They said the game has no look boxes. Good for you you want me to slow clap for you?
@dacontag: I'm not a fan of open world games bloated with collecting useless stuff. I'm not a fan of first person linear shooters either. I'm just picky and I have long list of stuff I don't like. But it's not all bad there is a small niche of games I still enjoy. It's just the types of games I really like are becoming less and less frequent.
I've been playing video games since 1980. This really is the worst generation I've experienced. The games as a service model is killing any interest I have in games. I grew up in a time when you got a finished complete product. That is and always will be my expectation when I buy a game. If game companies can't deliver that I won't pay for a game unless steeply discounted.
