Gotta love the lemmings who constantly mentions Nintendo when Nintendo isn't in competition with either console. Gotta love the lemmings who say that Nintendo is destroying the PS3 when it's ALSO destroying the 360 in sales as well.

It was a tough choice but now that I have the PS3 hooked up I dont regret it. There may not be as many games out but they are comming and the quality of this machine is way better than the 360. I had my last RROD and figured I should trade up before MS lowers the price and I get less trade in value.

Picked up Rachet and clank and Uncharted. Tried em both and the seem great so far. Graphic wise they are both great but nothing I have not seen on the 360. But everything I have been reading about Metal Gear blowing Gears out of the water and lets face it Forza graphics were BAD and Gran Turismo's are great.

Seemed like the right choice. If anyone is thinking about it I say do it before MS drops they price and you get less trade in.

I'm sorry but Microsoft hasn't toppled anything especially. The only thing it has going for it is excellent software but when it comes to hardware, they are *far* from toppling Sony. Nintendo isn't even directly in the competition and I respect them but they're not going to topple Sony either. I have said this time and time again-DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE SONY. Sony has made mistakes in the past but eventually they fixed them and got back on track.

What makes you think they won't do the same thing with the PS3?

And if anything, imo, Microsoft was the one being the most arrogant, buying exclusives from left to right and stealing PS3 exclusives.

And if you noticed, they're slowly fixing their mistakes. All companies make mistakes. There's no such thing as a perfect company. You would be ignorant to think that way.

i agree that sony is doing a pretty good job at correcting their previous mistakes

but the topic was about how sony approached this gen intelligently

entering a new generation with a load of costly mistakes is not something that should be hailed as "intelligent" to me

Well that's your opinion. I think they knew what they were doing at the time but came off at the wrong foot.

It's going to be an awesome game but would I risk a faulty system for it?

The problem is that the game looked better last year so why would they downgrade a game to later on upgrade it?
