Anyone who thinks Sony was smart in their decisions about the PS3 is simple uneducated. Sony has gone from being market leader to struggling for second and has lost a small fortune in the process. I simply fail to understand how that can be a good thing.

And if you noticed, they're slowly fixing their mistakes. All companies make mistakes. There's no such thing as a perfect company. You would be ignorant to think that way.
What are you talking about..... The PS3 was rushed....but more importantly the 360 was EXTREMELY rushed..... Sony didn't wait a year to borrow ideas.... hell they just wanted to hurry and get the system out as soon as possible....since the 360 released early....but sony made sure their system didn't have a vast Hardware flaw this time.....
MS got most of the Devs to work on their system first....great move there...but it came at a steep price which will bare its ugly head toward the end of this gen....hell its starting right now that the 360 sales are headed south, compared to these last couple of years.... and the HARDWARE PROBLEMS are a huge factor...... IMO....its one reason I still haven't got one....

How in the world did Sony rush the PS3? Sony waited an entire year before they released it in 2006. Microsoft had the XBox 360 out before Sony could even get the PS3 off the ground. If anything, Microsoft did the most rushing, not Sony. If Sony rushed the system, then we would have had huge hardware problems like M$.
You must be kidding me. This is a system that outsold both the PS3 and the 360. If I could afford another system right now, I'll be getting the Wii thank you.
