@jammylambo @djb1203 @billlabowski the racing genre is probably a wider appealing genre. must admit that metal gear never held any appeal to me. and i dont really know any of my friends who played it much either. whereas everyone i knew with a psone, ps2 or ps3 has most of the GT series. Gran turismo on the psone was a must have title for absolutely everyone. and when the ps2 came out we bought the ps2 almost specifically for GT. im not so sure that GT6 is such a must own title though. especially with the ps4 around the corner.

@billlabowski not even close. Metal gear is around 25 to 30 million. Gran turismo is 70million

if i pay 30 quid (or more) for a game and play it for 50 to 100 hours then i want a proper ending lol. i dont mind open world games where i can continue on after the ending. but at some point i want closure on the narrative ive dedicated a considerable amount of time to. leaving stuff unresolved just feels like they didnt know how to end it so gave up.

people seem surprised at this. what else, pope catholic? bears shit in woods? lol. bloody obvious gt6 is best for the ps3 at the moment. and theres also the fact theyve been working on this for years. theyve barely had 6 months to play with the ps4. would be nice if they can do a short free Demo like they did with the ps3. a couple of tracks. 24 cars. something like that. they could knock that up by christmas i reckon.

@jtatfsu theyre not taking into account the number of people who buy a game on day one knowing that they can recoup part of the cost by selling it on a few weeks later. im happy to pay £40 for a game knowing that i can get £20 back and recycle that into my next purchase. if i cant sell it on im going to think long and hard about buying a new game.

@Karmazyn @fOUr_17tN @djb1203 the flight to america would be considerably dearer than the savings. a pc is near enough the same price in europe as the US. but it costs considerably more to fly to america than 500miles from ukraine to germany. they could probably drive it in a day lol. i reckon they just wanted to visit america. nice holiday for them

@Karmazyn @jukejointj you can backup to an external drive using the backup utility under the settings menu. replace the internal drive with a larger one (its just a standard 2.5" hardrive like in a laptop) and then restore your backup. itll take quite a while though so delete anything you dont need such as old game installs and demos. its very easy. theres probably plenty of youtube videos about it. if you dont have an external drive you can redownload most of your stuff from the store, so just replace the drives and then reinstall your content.

maybe microsoft has been watching Spinal Tap too much. i guess theyre figuring that people will think the bigger the number the better the machine.

sony said "ok our next machine is called ps 3..."

microsoft had a think "yeh but ours is better its the, its the xbox 360! hah. bigger number, better console. we win"

so years later sony announce their new console and say " our next machine is called the ps4...."

microsoft have another think.. "yeh but ours is better by inifinity. yeh, its the xbox infinity! we win. yay"

microsofts next console will probably be called the "xbox yo momma"
