I liked Playstation Home also, but see a PS4 version as being unlikely, considering that it never really caught on with the PS3 to begin with. They tried bringing it back to life with updates and a new marketing campaign, but it still never brought them to where they needed it to be.

Now Sims 4 on PS4, I do see happening.

Arkham City - and it didn't disappoint. Loved every waking moment of it. I had to slow myself down from completing it cause I wanted the moment to last.

Now Arkham Knight is coming up and I'm so excited!

No, I got to play the alpha at E3 for PS4, it's pretty awesome.

And that was only the FPS-arena aspect of it!

@uninspiredcup: No, console-only gamers don't have misconceptions over PC gaming, it just isn't for them.

No physical copies, you cannot resell your digital licenses, and the 1k entry point to have a good PC - not appealing to many console gamers. And stick in Steam's always-online DRM.

PC Gaming is awesome tho. Can't re-sell digital copies, but you can pickup digital copies for pretty cheap to offset it. Having to be always online sucks, but I'm usually always online anyways so it doesn't matter.

PC games are best for games that are native to being on a computer, like where the game really required a keyboard and mouse on a computer desk, games like Hearthstone, Minecraft (mods!), X-COM, DOTA 2. All awesome

Fanboys of anything are stupid. Just play games, on any platform

My mom bought me a Sega Genesis bundled with Madden 92 for my 6th birthday and I have been in a mad love affair ever since. It was the best birthday present I ever received, I love you mom!

I grew up in a bad area (what can you do?) and of course no matter where you grow up you will always have bad influences trying to convince you to screw up your life temporary or permanently, Believe it or not video games has helped me stay away from bad influences and more.. the biggest way gaming has helped me out was with my reading ability, I prefer older games like fallout, baldur's gate, ultima and those games require a good amount of reading and they really inspired me to expand my vocabulary and convinces to me pick up a book and start reading.

What made you a gamer and how did it effect you?

GTA 5, you can just feel that the quality is better.

Watch Dogs is fun tho.

Salvation Army is a great way to go bargain hunting if you were willing to put the time into it.

Is it typical for a guy in his early 30s to not be as interested in video games as he was when he was younger?

*For this topic, "video games" refers to home console gaming. I've never really been that interested in PC or portable gaming (nothing against either of those things; just not my cup of tea), so I can't really lose interest in something that I wasn't really interested in in the first place. Make sense?

I'm in my early 30s, and I feel like I'm losing my interest in video games. I can't put my finger on why though. I can't decide whether it's because I've "outgrown them" or if it has to do with the gaming industry in general (perhaps I haven't outgrown gaming, but gaming hasn't given me a reason to be excited about it anymore because the quality of games in general has gotten worse).

It's not abnormal. I don't put in as many hours into a game unless there's a specific game I'm obsessed with.

When I was younger I use to be able to quickly move on after I got bored of a game, to another game. Now I have several other different interests outside gaming I can attend to.

@GH05T-666: Yeah. It's not as big budget as GTA 5 but it's still a lot of fun.

GTA 4. Rockstar better take forever on the GTA 5 port than release that colossal failure of a port again.

Watch Dogs is up there though.
