You know I never really play games just to get better at them. I just tend to play through the main game/modes and just get progresively better from there. Though I think I did play Super Puzzle Fighter just to get better and best my sister at it. That was a LOOOOOONNNNG time ago though :)

Action/Adventures usually involve more action. Haha, that's about all I can come up with.Yagr_Zero
True, but platformers arn't exactly devoid of action either. Rachet and Clank is a pretty good example of that.

I've had the game for a while (and for free thanks to the Nintendo Stars Catalog :D ). It a pretty good game and best Wii game I've played this year. It's also got a great quirky sense of humour too like when your solders die. "Letty croaked it" :P Oh, Letty. Always dieing...

It's weird, the thought just poped into my head and I just couldn't come up with the crucial difference(s) between the two. I mean, I know what games are Action Adventures (Uncharted, Tomb Raider) and I know which are Platformers (Jak and Daxter, Super Mario). I can tell them apart but I can't define the differences if you know what I mean. The only thing I can think of are little things, Platformers tend to be more jumpy while Action Adventure games tend to have more exploration. But that doesn't really hold much water because, well, Action Adventure games do have jumps and Platformers do have exploration. Do you guys know what the big difference(s) is between these genres? Because I'm stumped :? Though I bet knowing what I'm like the answer is really simple. :P

I'm not sure. It kinda looks like it but it's really hard to tell. But it's got to make the jump to next gen at some point and when it does I'll be there to see it! :)

Thank you both for replying :) If I'm completely honest I don't understand all of the advice but I'll try and elaborate on the issue. Since my first post I have tried to post the blog both in Firefox and Internet Explorer, no luck on either. I've also tried to post it on my dads laptop and once again no result. My computer is quite old though (going on 9 years) and I've have had virus problems in the past. I'll try and get some screen shots later. :) [EDIT] It posted! Apparentely copying and pasting from a word document cuase the HTML error. it was fine when I typed in the by hand. Thanks again the both of you for your help :)
