I don't think anyone is questioning whether the decision to begin drinking is a moral choice. The issue is whether the chemical addiction that is alcoholism is a disease.
In my opinion it's a choice, they can choose not to drink whenever they like, unlike smoking, they have a need to smoke a far fews times a day.
