Does something like that void the warranty though? In my experience, you usually void the warranty if you take out any screws from the console. The guy i'm gonna be living with is ... well ... super uptight about crap like that.

I'm sure this one won't be hard for people who actually have one, so here goes.

I'm about to have a roomate that will have a 360, but will only be living with him for around 5 months. I am most definately going to buy both Burnout Paradise, and Devil May Cry 4 when they come out (seeing as he is just a sports nut, and will only buy sports games), but was worried about what would happen when a) he moves out and b) I probably end up buying a 360 for myself. Will I be able to get those saved games from his machine to mine? Becuase I would totaly hate to have played Burnout, DMC4, or even Mass Effect (which I would probably buy) only to lose my saved games. I'm kind of a packrack when it comes to those things. I still have my old N64 memory cards with Mario Kart ghosts and such stored on them if that gives any indication.

Also, on a more ridiculous note, would my gaming accheivements be stored on my account (that I would create on his machine), or would they just pile onto his account (seeing as he will be the only one paying for X-Box live)? Kind of a stupid question to ask, but I can see myself becoming a points-whore (have always loved those RPGs!).

Thanks in advance duders.

Ooo, subquestion:: Anyone know the upcoming releases that are 360 only (within say the next year)? It seems that almost every game is multiplat nowadays, and looking through the release dates under the "New Releases" tab at the top didn't turn up any gems for me, but I figure that Gamespot's database is just missing some titles.

The only code that cause so much controversy among parent's groups, and even helped SEGA sell more Genesis consoles.

THE BLOOD CODE! (a-b-a-c-a-b-b)

You know, as much as people praise this game, I just couldn't find myself wanting to finish it, and for the love of the Flying Spaghetti Monster I can't reason why. I guess in the end it just didn't drag me into the story, or even have me caring about what was going to happen next. I still own my copy for the PS2, and I'm probably going to try and re-play it here in a couple of months, but I hope the same thing dosen't happen again.

Quick question: Has Apple signed a deal to only have iTunes on X-Box Live? Because I see no reason why they wouldn't just let sony also have access to that crap. If anything, you would think that Apple has a grudge against Microsoft more then Sony.

But realistically, iTunes sucks a huge virtual wang. It and it's virus-like quicktime can f right off.

Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142

The exclusive games generally don't make the PC the FPS king (ex. Half-Life 2 is multiplatform at this point), the mouse/keyboard combo is what does.

t3hTwinky

But, you can use M & KB on a console as well.

Mouse and Keyboard support on consoles isn't at a level where it could replace controllers. If it were, I would have a console or two.

Very true. Plus, it's not just the controls that make the PC superior. It's the ridiculous modding community (Just look at the Half-Life mods that never make it to consoles: Day of Defeat, The Opera, Firearms, Fortress Forever, Metastasis, and the entire re-make of HL1 using the HL2 engine)(and also the free "Map Packs", i.e. you're never going to have to pay for new Valve-sanctioned CS:S maps, or TF2 maps), the fact that the servers for multiplayer are good across the board(READ: NOT P2P), and not the mention the controls. That's right, the sheer speed and utility of the Mouse and KB will always out-do a console controller, even with ridiculous amounts of auto-aim in console games.

[QUOTE="Blinblingthing"]Am not that familiar to that group. i do how ever look more towards what 1upsays. lets see what ign saysLiquid-GEAR
IGN and Capcom say the diff. are minimal - unnoticable to most ppl. 1UP also says the diff. are minimal but there.

If you watch the latest 1up Show, they say that this game is noticabally better on the PS3. The reference notacable screen tearing on the 360 version, as well as saying the PS3's buttons just feel better. Either way it's gonna be good on both systems.

In reference to your complaint about the quality of maps:

It still amazes me that they won't just re-make some of the more played maps from the old games just for the heck of it. I mean, the maps were already balanced (even if they were super-simplistic), and it can't be that hard to re-skin an old map. If anything TF2 proves that point considering modders had already re-made Mach2 2 weeks after the MP Beta was released.

You know, it's funny. People said the same thing about Killer 7, and yet I still went out and picked that up. And you know what I found? A game that had a deeper story / meaning then almost any big budget game that came out that year.

Do people STILL not know what the saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover" means? Jebus.

I was thinking and the mouse & keyboard combo is not as superior to controllers as hermits like to think. I game on the PC and 360 and I might get a Wii for Mario Galaxy. The controller has a distinct advantage and so does the M & K. The advantage the console controller has over the M & K with shooters is the thumbstick used for walking/ running. With a keyboard, you have to toggle the walk/ run with a key whereas with a controller, you can shift from walk to run by the sensitivity of the thumbstick. This is much better than toggeling. Also the direction control os much better than using keys such as w,s,d,a. The M&K advantage s definitely the mouse. It's much better for intuitive looking around. Trashface

If a game-pad is so much more superior, then why (pray tell) do all console shooters require Auto-Aim?

Also, have you ever played a RTS on a console? How about a true Flight Sim? Saying that a game-pad controls those better is utter blasphemy.
