For me it has got to be Dawn of War II, Batman or Demigod. It has been a good hear for gaming.

Really it all comes down to the exclusive titles; Uncharted, LBP and Demon's Souls spring to mind. That being said my main reason for buying a PS3 was to use it to watch blueray movies.

If you got the money it is a good investment to gain access to PS3 only titles and since you don't pay for online. It doesn't matter if you don't play games on your PS3 too often.

Trintiron XBR's covers a wide range of TV modles... There should be a sticker on the back of your TV with the model number, it should start with KV-something. Anyway if it is a highend sony tube TV, it should have a component input. This would give you the best quality picture. Does the back of your TV look like this?

If your TV only has composite and S Video it is not an HDTV. Maybe it is EDTV but I thought that required Composite connectors. What is the make and model of your TV? You should find that info somewhere on your TV. If you give us that we could look up, exactly what you have.

NO, EA/DICE don't really care about patching their games... they expect you to buy their new games.

I have really enjoyed Demigod, in spite of the technical problems the game had/has. If you like ganking real people then this is the game for you. As for the guy who said their is no player base. I have never had a problem finding a game, that being said it would always be nice if the game had a larger player base.
