I would echo the calls for a GTX 780 and a SSD. You could also look at some close loop water cooling and Overclock your CPU.

Since when is Forza 5 a PC game? So a in development game on the PC and the final code on the XBO of a game that will never come out on PC is a valid comparison? Just wait until Titanfall comes out... then we can do an apples to apples comparison.

Media people are just starting to notice that in the last year Nintendo has built quite a good library of exclusive titles for the WiiU. This is especially true when you contrast it to the launch lineup for the PS4 and XBO, both systems won't be getting any new retail games until February. So after initial release there is not much to get excited about for the next 3 months.

Until Destiny or Titanfall come out, for me, there is not much reason to own a PS4 or XBO, especially because I have a PC. But I have a WiiU and 3DS because I need to play Mario and Zelda games.

Yea this was an easy answer. Specs are better on ps4. In time I think multiplats will get closer if the ESRAM thing works out for xb1. It seems none of the developers touched that for launch games. well see.. So far my thinking is I will be getting my single player games on ps4 and my multi player games on xb1 bc of the online and my friends being there.

As I understand it the ESRAM is used automatically, it works as a dynamic cache for the DDR3 memory. But yes once developpers figure out how to make better use of the ESRAM we should see perforance increase on the XBO... but that still won't make up the raw Flops difference between the two systems. Though the XBO would in theory have an advantage if the game is CPU limited.

The simple answer is that the PS4 has more Compute Units than the XBO, 18CU vs 12CU so it can process more pixels per second. That is a 50 percent advantage in pixel pushing power, even though the XBO run at a faster clock rate than the PS4 it can not make up the performance advantage of having more CUs. This gives the PS4 an advantage rendering complex graphical effects at higher resolutions. The manifestation of this performance delta is the PS4 being able to render at 1080p and the XB0 at 720p.

The reason XBO has less CU than the PS4 is Microsoft needed to make room on the CPU die for the ESRAM cache, which they need to improve memory bandwidth due to their choice to go with DDR3 ram. This performance advantage will most likely endure for the life of the systems unless, MS radically improves efficiency of their drivers and Sony can not. But I see no reason why they won't be able too.

If you want to know more Arstechnica has a couple of good right ups on the hardware design choice that Sony and Microsoft made in designing their consoles.

I am super interested in Wii Fit U, just need to find a used balance board. Hope the games release doesn't cause a spike in balance board prices.

If we see a price drop at E3 I think we will see Nintendo throw WiiU owners a bone. Whether that come in the form of a bunch of VC games or a credit on the eShop. It is hard to say, but I would be happy with either, not that I'm an unhappy WiiU owner. Monster Hunter, NSMBu and ZombiU have kept me happy.

[QUOTE="Zubinen"] If the price is that much of an issue you can load some money onto a prepaid gift card(Mastercard or Visa gift card) and use a web proxy for an Indian IP to buy premium for $27.

Thanks for the tip, I might just do that, but I'll wait to see if their is any blow back from EA for customers who have done this already. I'm in no rush to get premium.

I want the map packs but I don't like how they have bundled them or the price point. Making me buy the Karkand map pack a second time is not cool. If you can't give me a discount on Premium then give me a credit to use towards another purchase on Origin. I will buy them if and when they get discounted, I'd be willing to pay $30 maybe $40.

But right now, I'm thinking I will just jump ship from BF3 and start playing more Tribes and CS:GO

Civ 5 is a deep turn based strategy game, that potentially offers hundreds of hours of game play, if you get into it.I can`t recommend it enough. At the 75% off it won`t cost you much to give it a shot. I`ve wasted more money on worse games.
