There is a very fine line of bottlenecking. At a certain point, there will be no bottleneck. For instance, at high resolutions, a game will use nothing more then the GPU and Ram. In DX10, it is taking the load off of the CPU and directing it all to the GPU for calculations on nearly everything except for the AI, which is all done through the processor.

There is a thread about bottlenecking, and pretty much telling us we are thinking too much on bottleneck. I agree, there is a soft point till we do get bottleneck, but not as bad as we say it is. Just look around on overclock.net, and you will know what im talking about.

Ignore the noobs who say a powerful CPU. At a sertain resolution, you will be using more of GPU then CPU. And in DX10 mode, you will be using the GPU instead of the CPU (thats the benifits of DX10). So A decent low end dual core can be more enough, and you can easily overclock.

A x1950xt or whatever can be had for less then 200 if I am correct (or is that x1900xt?). Or you can get yourself the 7900gs, volt mod it, overclock it. But I would just wait, as there will be the 8700 series and such coming out.

RO is better imo. This mod, the soldiers sound like they got a stick up their ass, or they are trying to sound like Arnold. It is quite annoying, and actually, I wanna strangle a kittlen or a baby after hearing it. That is one of the major things they gotta change.

Also, the coding needs to be a bit tweaked, cause obviously something is a mess, to cause such the major performance hog. I mean, I played games more demanding, and better looking, without such the framerate issue.

Game is horribly unoptimized, and has some serious issues (also, seems to crash for a lot). But it is a beta non the less :P

Its gameplay is quite good, but sometimes feels a little 1 sided, but who knows. And Spawning is pretty bad, were people get stuck to each other :-/

Hahaha, Dr. Who is the longest running British TV show ever. Has started in the Mid 60's and is still going today, were the doctor is a alien from a plant "galafre" (SP?) and his race are called the Time Lords. Well, the time lords have each of their own time traveling machine, and the Doctors is called a Tardas, but its cloaking mechanisim is broken, and stuck on the appearance of an old British Police Telephone Box. It is a very good show, and I love it. I cannot wait either, since the new season is gonna have the Master (Another time lord, but in the old old episodes, was the Doctors arch Nemisis).

Forgot to mention, the Doctor, everytime he runs out of his life, transforms, or merly, regenerates. He only has 13 or so lives, and has gone through most of them. Longest running actor was Tom Baker, during the 70's and early 80's, and he was the BEST!

Oh no, not FFX-2. My sister is a girl (at least I think so) and she has all the FF games, going up to the latest. In her collection, the ones that she says are total bogus poop, is the Square Enix games (not Squaresoft ones, but the squarenix) and she says, out of all of them, X-2 was amongst the worst things she ever played. She finished it, but did not want to even look at it agian. Seriously dear, you will regret playing it, once you get your hands on it.

I agree with whoever mentioned the game Syberia, that one would be great, it's for everyone imo. Try Silent Hill 3, unless you don't have the stomach for gore and violence.

No, the best thing to do is either 1) increase hype or 2) make sure you DONT overhype, so that if the product is bad compared to their previous hope, well, not many will be let down.

I believe it is good to surprise us with a game, not overhype it like Crysis. I have a feeling we are going to be in for a bad ride. I mean, people still praise Far Cry, but a lot of people forget that it is also one of most hated for the monster idea near the end of the game. I mean, comon, that was stupid.
