If I am not mistaken, COD 4 wont be propaganda based, cause the Brits are allied with Eastern European rebels (Russian, etc) against the main military (so your allied with Russians and such, against Russians).

As for the Tom Clancy games, I agree, they are mostly propaganda.

[QUOTE="Ravanger1"]less LAG on system games, i have a good pc but i somtimes get random crashes when playing stalker or COH which pisses me offsixty7velle

I agree with you on this one. I'm guessing that most of the lag I have while playing BF2 and 2142 is caused by the servers rather the game though. Stalker is it's own worst enemy though. I could barely play it b/c of random crashes and freezing up. I've never had any problems with company of heroes, even with graphics close to max...

Dunno bout you guys, but I experienced tons of lag in GEARS of War on Xbox360, and The Darkness on PS3.

When the game arrives for most to all of us, we should all post a huge thing on what our systems are, what kind of res/detail we expect and finaly, the FPS the game runs at, including pictures to go along. So then I (or someone who wants to take the task) sets up a large data table with the names, systems, res/detail, and FPS + comments to give our indication to everyone else in the future who wants to play the game, can expect to see how it will handle on their systems!

[QUOTE="cobrax25"]

I heard they delayed to wait until the proper drivers come out for vista (apparently today)

64 bit systems arent designed to play many games properly...wait for the new drivers and hopefully that will fix it.

LuvGaming

You might be right because after installing it, I got a message letting me know that my drivers were out of date even though I have the latest Nvidia drivers. Anyways, I got Vista x64 Ultimate for free so I can't complain too much. MS should get their cr@p together though.

Thats the understatement of the year......

I too have been waiting on this game when it was first announced, and I was getting excited when the summer of 2K7 rolled around (my birthday, June 23, and Graduation of high school, June 27) and moving in with my sister, in a 2 bedroom place (her and I get along very well, so we dont worry about sharing a place) and I was hoping to get my PC back in time for this game + get a new video card (volt modded + tweaked 7900gs xt is good and all, but I am a graphics freak as I am in terms of gameplay). But due to some setbacks at my job (I am a security guard at IBM for 40/h a week with 12/hr paycheck (not much but enough)) I am not capable of getting the game for a bit. Am I angry? sort of, but I can wait, since I already waited a long time anyway.

What people should do, is post their own screenshots of the game, with the listing of their settings (+ maybe FPS rate, yay fraps!), so we can indicate on how it will run on each of our own systems. I know I would start up my own benchmark chart and everything, but my PC is in 1 province, while I am in another.

[QUOTE="sepheronX"]You guys got nothing to complain about. I have to wait till next week to have my PC shipped out from 1 city to another (I moved out, and had to leave my PC at my parents house) so I wont get to even play the demo till then.sSubZerOo

Actually the majority of people on this thread are most likely getting the game tommorw.

yeah, so what is the whole problem then? Download speeds too slow? boo hoo. If you are like me, patient, then wait till the game hits retail on the 21 (tomorow). If the demo finish's downloading tomorow morning, then you got something to test out first and then buy in the same day.

Is it me, or are the console morons are good at throwing random numbers out of their **** (mouth)? I built a gaming pc, that is highly overclockable, plays every game at top notch, and comes with a nice big LCD monitor to play games at high resolution. It cost me 1K Canadian (for a friend).

Specs:

Intel E6550

2x1gig PC6400 Patriot Extreme Memory

Asus P5K P35 motherboard

EVGA 8800gts 640mb edition

Acer 22' LCD HDMI PC monitor

Chaintech AV-710 audio card (not best, but good enough for analog, and the fact that it takes off stress off the CPU).

Antec Sanata 3 w/ Antec 500w Earthwatt PSU

Pioneer Dual layer DVD burner.

Got all the parts on sale, and free shipping. Great system, my friend is having tons of fun. As he sold his Xbox 360 cause he did not even need it anymore, as he agreed it could not performe as well as this.

You need to understand, that the consoles are stuck at a constant 30fps for tv wise (that is why it looks like poop on monitors usually) and they are only capable of running decently with today's games. I noticed with playing both consoles, side by side (my uncle, whom is a nerd) and I noticed that games such as "the Darkness" and Gears of war, would dip below 30fps when things get heavy. That is not a good sign, it shows that we already reached the consoles limit, unlike the Xbox, which took a while, till Halo 2 to come out, to really show the xbox's potential.

Also, PC's will allow you to adjust it to your liking, so that means high AA and AF, high resolution, and awsome graphics. You can also make things look better, outside of the game, with modified drivers and such. Also, you can modify the hardware yourself, like I did when I volt modded my 7900gs xt.

If you want a good gaming PC, without paying much, just build it yourself, or have places like Newegg or NCIX build it for you, and usually they charge only 25 bucks for it too.

I know at NCIX, you just select what parts you want, even the real good ones on sale, then you can also add in the "build for me" or whatever, and they will put it all together for you.

If you want, I can set up a decent PC gaming machine for 800 and have a build option so you don't have to put it together.

All that + 50 or 25 bucks for them to build it for you. And there you go, a good overclocking/gaming machine. Get rid of keyboard and mouse (if you already have them) and then processor to upgrade to the E6550 if you want a good system without overclock.

But a true gamer, would find more intertainment if they tweaked and overclocked their system. Not to mention, the 8600gts has a lot of overclock potential. As the system is not gonna play all upcoming games on highest (due to video card), it will be enough to play titles like Crysis, and GEARS of war on resolutions such as 1280x1024 and or widescreen like 1440x768 or whatever, with decent frame rates, at mid-high details.

Do not worry, motherboard and ram I selected, would be more then enough to get that bad boy processor, to at least 2.5ghz without hassle, and a good 1200 or more FSB, so you get more performance at the end. Only downfall, is the 1mb total ram.
