Only on the torrents though as far as I can tell :( anyone have any idea where the torrent file came from because torrents are rather slow I'd much rather get it from a big site.

Also watch out for viruses... Really this 7pm thing is all due to greedy ass Fileplanet.. They made it so late so Fileplanet subscribers could have it this morning.. It is a scheme that failed because their encryption was easilly broken by some one and now its showing up on multiple sites. Fileplanet I believed pulled the demo as well now due to it.. Good serves them right.

I'm using a torrent but as usual it's unbareably slow. Fileplanet aren't getting my money anyway that's all I know. Not for a demo.

The fact is that it's a leak from fileplanet because someone found the way to get the non encrypted demo on their servers this night. They pulled the file but it's too late... You can find the demo on torrent, and there are other links.

Ok guys I must say this game runs fantastic.. Using a 8800 GTS 320mb, 2gb 667mhz ddr2 ram, and Core 2 Duo E4300 all at stock, there was never a hick up.. Everything was on high resolutions I tried out on were 1240 X 1024 and 1600 X 1200, both ran fantastic.. And on top of that Nvidia is suppose to release a performance boosting driver later today supposedly that will not only increase FPS but add AA and AF as possibilities..

Let me also say the people say the game is littered with jaggies are on crack.. Even with out AA on the game looks wonderful, where there are only a handful of areas I remember seeing almost unnoticable jaggies.. This is with the lower res I posted and no AA and AF.. It honestly seems like alot of these people must use a magnifying glass to find these blemishs. The sound is also top notch using Creative labs EAX on.

cool, glad to hear it runs great. One of my ram sticks bonked out, so I only got 1.5 gigs of ram. But the rest of my specs seem good enough to run it on high.

Athon 3800+ @2.6ghz

1.5 gigs of ram

Geforce 7900gs @585mhz. (pci-e)

But the pc gamers who've played it haven't mentioned gameplay yet. whats it like?

Hehe sorry for not saying.. I have already played the demo numerous times at a friends house on his Xbox360.. The demo is a straight forward one where it basically just there to stretch out your legs.. The enviroment it produces really puts every shooter that has been released to shame.. The only one that has gotten close to Bioshock is Half-Life 2's. The controls are easy to use as well, the game is also littered with accurately depicted scenes of 1940-1950's esque themes every where.. the AI is great though limited in the demo just due to it being beginning guys where your just learning things. The weapons are solid but they do not hold a similar feel like FEAR unfortantly, of course its a completely different game..

What people should do, is post their own screenshots of the game, with the listing of their settings (+ maybe FPS rate, yay fraps!), so we can indicate on how it will run on each of our own systems. I know I would start up my own benchmark chart and everything, but my PC is in 1 province, while I am in another.
