With more modern effects and graphics becoming more "real", I see a potential "decrease" in gore, or it will cause an AO rating like manhunt. Why? cause people like Jack Thompson will be all over the fact that you can spill the enemy's brains all over the floor, and they would look semi real.
I just hope they don't give in and release a dumbed down verson, were you shoot a guy in the head, and all you get is a simple blood hole in the head. I want to see brains fly!
to be honest, all of my pc gaming problems came from hardware. Nowaday's, as production of hardware increases, the chances of a lemon is also increased.
Also, right now, my problems is either 1 of 2 things, or both. Hardware and software. My games freeze, in an odd color disorder, but sound is still working, to fix that, i had to drop the memory clock speeds to 800 instead of 835 on my XFX 7900gs xt. Strange though, just before the occurance, it worked 100% flawless every other day for months, but all of a sudden, im getting the issues along with major slowness in my games (darn you 2gigs of PC6400 ram and a C2D, your supposed to be fast).
Hardware and software combined, can cause a deadly issue with pc gaming. It takes the right person and right patience to determin the problem.
Right now, I am investigating best price/performance wise hardware, and software. I am currently looking into what can cause these issues, and easy, successful ways of fixing the issues.
If you want to be a testing guinnipig of mine, then please email me at sepheron59@hotmail.com, and I will try to solve your issue at the same time, solve plenty more.
As Call Of Cthulhu was not very scary, it was a very good thriller AND had its moments. I suggest try it out!
Cold fear was another one, that had its suspence, and can be had for very cheap too. Also, Resident Evil 4 (I wish RE4 on PC had the same controles as Cold Fear, as it had same style gameplay).
