[QUOTE="XboxUnderground"][QUOTE="Cyborg-21"][QUOTE="XboxUnderground"]E6600 is a way better value if you OC it you'll get performance on par/better than the FX62 for a fraction of the price but as you've already gone with a 939 mobo that doesn't matter

Even the E6300 is good and highly overclockable.

the problem with the E6300 is it's lack of l2 cache

which is y theres a new e6300 comin with 4mb cache i think

[QUOTE="TheLiberal"]

[QUOTE="Deadp1xel"][QUOTE="TheLiberal"]What do you have now? I mean, I wouldn't get one of those high end A64 X2s. If you want low end dual core (3800+ or 3600+) I would suggest an X2, or an A64 or even Sempron if you want single core, otherwise Core2 is the best $ for performance wise.Deadp1xel

don't tell im to get a core 2 duo when he's got a am2 board..

Do you see anywhere in his post where he says "I have an AM2 motherboard already"? Because I don't. Here, I'll even quote his original post:

is it worth paying a £120 ($200) more for more cache i want to get one of these cpus

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-192-AM amd x2 6000

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-191-AM am x2 5600
Kujectez

Nope, not there.

ok smart ass, even if it's not a am2, you can't pop in a core 2 duo in a amd board
oh and btw, look in the links it's all am2 cpu's he's looking for..

:lol: he is a smart butt when hes not edit ur post and take off the butt part, liberal loves reporting abuse
