the Pro edition. there is no need for the elite as you will never use the 120 gig harddrive. if you want music on your xbox, just network your pc to it and stream your music through your xbox. i've had my pro for 2 years now and only have 10 gigs used. that's with about 12 xbox live arcade games. just delete videos and game demos that you download when you are finished with them.

I agree - and much rather a media device (i.e. iPod Touch) than something that's for gaming. Why do people have to game 24/7? :?

Handheld gaming is awesome for us military guys. We have a lot of down time and it's best not to just think about things. We like to keep our minds sharp and occupied. The PSP has been awesome cause we can store photo, video, music, and games on it. It's like a portable entertainment center. I'd love to see a well put together portable xbox.

You're in the Military? Well that's definitely an exception. I was more referring to people that play Xbox all day ... then when they go out, they whip out some portable gaming device. And people wonder why they get lazy...

i play handhelds mostly on vacation and times when i'm away from home for a while. it gives u something to do and you don't have to haul around a big console with u

Vacation DEFINITELY shouldn't involve gaming... there's a difference between gaming to pass time and gaming to detatch yourself from the world. Real life is way more awesome than gaming.

i meant like airplane trips and car rides not the actual vacationing. i wouldn't miss that at all

plane rides suck. though it felt awesome at first, flying in full battle gear with your weapon for 16 hours from El Paso, TX to Korea is definitely a drag.

I feel you man. Not all gamers are as they appear though. I have buddies that play nothing but handheld gaming (and believe me, I feel really bad for them). Hell, my wife is a closet gamer. Hopefully as gaming gets more interactive, it can help shed some pounds for THOSE gamers

I watched the trailer for this game running off of the new EGO engine, and I had to watch it again to make sure it wasn't real video footage. Does anyone know of any more details surrounding this game? Is anyone excited about it? I'm a little skeptical though because Codemasters also had their hand in Turning Point...

This definitely should have been an expansion. There was no reason to pay 60 dollars for that game. Thank God I beat it and sold it for full retail price.

Your missing a great online experience then. ANd i totally dissagree, Vegas 2 is 1000000 times better then Vegas 1, i am loving Vegas 2 online, its so tactical. Definatly nto for everyone thoughy as the online takes awhile to get use to, its got a high learning curve compared to most games, because there IS NO AUTO AIM like in COD4 and Halo3

Online was SO much better on Vegas 1. This game is garbage. I actually played Vegas 1 again recently and it actually runs better than 2. So I have to disagree. Vegas 2 is nothing more than a profit manipulation.

haha, thats BS, ive played the rainbow6 series since it started back in the day on pc and this Vegas 2 is finally taking the Rainbow6 series in the right direction.. MORE TACTICAL/REALISM. I know Vegas 2 isnt for everyone, but for those of us who love tactical shooters, this is perfect. Just because you suck at a game doesnt mean you should hate it man. Im bad at Halo3 and Forza2 but i sitll play them alot. Playing the singleplayer will not give you a taste of the fantastic online for Vegas 2.

Vegas 1 you could pick it up and kick butt right away with no problems. But with Vegas 2 you actually have to get a hang of hte learning curve or you will get your butt kicked. More tactical gameplay for rainbow6 = MUCH BETTER. Maybe give the online more of a chance then a few hours? The first 2 hours i played i HATED Vegas 2... but then after 2-3 hours i started to love it, you jsut have to try out all the guns, learn the levels and take your time. This is not a RUN OUT AND START SPRAYING type of shooter.

Obviously you don't get my point. I in no way suck at Rainbow Six. I thoroughly enjoyed the tactical gameplay of the first Vegas game. It's probably still my favorite 360 game. But Vegas 2 was a huge let down. It feels broken and for a sequel on a console riddled with shooters, this game is a big letdown in my opinion. Just because I don't like something doesn't mean I suck at it.

I'm going to have to say Gears on the grounds that, though some of the more direct graphics in CoD4 look amazing, it's the little details that keep it from being groundbreaking. I wasn't impressed with a lot of the textures that they used on the objects surrounding the environment and the backdrops outlying the surrounding areas look terrible if you give it a good look. When Gears 2 comes out with the updated Unreal Engine, it's going to set the bar that much higher yet again.
