I'm excited after learning that Johnny Lee is working on the Natal team. If you don't know who he is, then check out his work http://www.johnnylee.net/projects/ Funny how Microsoft nabbed the guy who spent so much time making awesome mods to the Wii-mote.

I don't really care when they release it... as long as they spend a good amount of time creating a quality product that is stable and will revolutionize console gaming with the new technologies available today. They may as well add in 3D support, perhaps a higher possible resolution given that 1080p may be 480 in the not too distant future, and whatever else they think they should do to make gaming more awesome. If they're just going to release a more expensive expansion of what currently exists as their next gen console, then I would be sorely disappointed.

No. But I do remember one user claiming to have been to jail for marijuana possession :?jimmyjammer69

Seriously... It was because I possessed it on school grounds in Texas. I was only in jail for a few hours though.

i personally like the feature. my wife likes to use the PC while i am on the xbox, so this just gets rid of the heartache of having to steal the PC when I want to look at my facebook stuff.

this is just a terrible idea... the whole point of consoles is that you can run games without worrying about any background applications. this way, you always have the same gameplay specs and everyone gets to enjoy the same gameplay experience. this is why PC games will always look better before console games do because their hardware gets better gradually whereas consoles only upgrade each gen change. it's just a hell of a lot more expensive to stay up to date on a PC than it is to just upgrade a console each gen.

If you read the hands on multiplayer preview, they specifically say:

"The aforementioned campaign and Firefight modes will come on one disc, while the competitive multiplayer comes on a separate disc within the same box. It's the same exact Halo 3 multiplayer fans have been playing for nearly two years now, but with every downloadable map pack ever released for the game on the disc. And, of course, there's also the trio of exclusive maps known as Heretic, Citadel, and Longshore."

The second disc is merely the multiplayer executable portion of Halo 3 with the map packs on the disc. This means that you will be playing Halo 3 multiplayer from a multiplayer only disc running all of the maps directly from the disc as you would, say, valhalla on your original halo 3 disc.
