Whilst I do enjoy this show, reading out punctuation like 'question mark, question mark, dollar sign' etc. gets boring very quickly. Just say 'asshat'. It's much easier and actually slightly funnier.
@spiderman20088 Actually you DO need to buy games on your PC. They are typically 2/3rds the cost of their console versions, and it's people like you that DON'T pay for them that make PC games become less frequent and released at a later date than the console equivalents.
@Devils-DIVISION @ajay1708 True, although I find that the overly friendly 'no one can do no wrong' opinion is the majority case with most other sites. Danny O Dwyer I think is fantastic, good articles and a true gamer at heart, and although I find Johnny irritating at times, at least he says what he thinks. Seb is a laugh too. Kevin and Carolyn are very objective, so I think GS has a good balance overall. I don't know any other big commercial sites that are so outspoken.
"We’ll share more details about how it all works later" Either no one in the PR department at MS actually knows how 'always on', used games etc. works because they haven't been talking to the designers who built and coded the machine, or they're stalling the impending shit-storm for when they confirm the rumors.
It seems my 3 year old PC has more functionality than this new Xbox.; can play Metro Last Light, close it down and then play Broken Sword or Deus Ex or any other game from the nineties onwards. I can also unplug my wifi dongle and not worry about any loss of functionality. I can also play most other used (non-Steamworks) games without hassle. I'm also sure it can use Facebook/Skype/MyFaceSpace or whatever it is kids use these days to communicate with other hardware in my house, it's hardly revolutionary.
Mr Mattrick - Seems to me like the Xbox One is One step 'backwards'.
@maki206 You don't play Skyrim for the combat, you play it for...well, everything else. Fisticuffs seems to be all this game has. If it had a coherant plot and stronger RPG elements I would consider picking this up.
