So you're upset because a shooter plays like a shooter? That would be like me disliking ice cream because it's cold and sweet.... You don't like the genre. No big deal. Don't play it.

PS3 has made an epic comback, congrats to Sony, Microsoft pretty much lost steam ever since MGS4 smacked system wars, all 360 has now is Reach, and half a year later...Gears3iMojo786_PSNWhich is why the Xbox 360 still sells better than PS3??? If we are going by success of the systems and their companies overall the 360 is by far and away the winner of this generation. If there was not another exclusive for the xbox this generation and ps3 got AAAAE games from here on out the generation would still be won by the Xbox. Also, we are on GS. Use the GS scores to measure a game. If i want to go argue a systems score using metacritic ill go to the metacritic site.
You all do realize what Sony is doing? No? Well, let me tell you. They are preparing their user base to pay for online service (i.e. Xbox Live) next gen. While they willl be "giving" free games and such, ultimately, PSN will be just like Live. Pay to play. Which is not all bad, considering it will allow them to invest in more bandwidth and centralized servers for it.
and if that day was to come, SONY will receive a huge smackdown from their fans. LOL yeah right. I love how sony lovers always bashed having to pay 4$ a month for Xbox Live, yet when Sony starts their own subscription fee all Sony lovers are saying how much better it is then Live now. It wasnt a contest before and its even less of one now. Before you got an inferior service for free, now you pay for an inferior service.Dude Sony said they WOULD keep adding content what are you talking about? And With Live once you stop paying the online portion of all your games stops working too... Not sure why your calling PSN+ on that if your such a big PS3 fan and ignoring Live tremendous flaws.TehNubTuber
Sorry but you are just flat out wrong. When you cancel Xbox Live you KEEP ALL YOUR GAMES YOU PAID FOR. Nice try though.
If you buy a game on PSN and cancel your PSN+ you still keep it too, what's your point? The point is that your point is completely moot. Microsoft has been doing for years what Sony has just started to do. Welcome to the online age bro! Ill stick to using my PS3 for single player games only and still use console that has been revolutionizing online gameplay since it came out as my main console.PSN+ is the greatest idea ever by Sony, I'm checking out the PS store and they have games like Wipeout HD, Destruction Derby and DLC like the Killzone DLC packs that have little +'s on them meaning if you get PSN+ you get that stuff for free :o !!!GAMESPOT PARAGRAPH PLEASE!!! That's just insane, Live makes you pay to play games you already bought, while PSN+ GIVES YOU GAMES AND DLC! :o !!!GAMESPOT PARAGRAPH PLEASE!!! The awesome is just too strong, MS really needs to get their stuff together. PSN+ is like a discount + rental service + free DLC service. And you know how Sony rolls they'll just keep adding and adding and adding content.TehNubTuberCool, have fun with it since they wont continue with it for long. Also, Welcome Sony to what Microsoft has been doing since the Xbox came out. You finally managed to catch up to what Microsoft has been doing for 5+ years.
HAHAH, play MGS4 on hard or very hard, get caught then come back and talk about stealth. If you get caught, its basically game over. Same in Splinter Cell. You can't run and gun your way through the game. Least what ive seen so far.[QUOTE="-Snooze-"]
And yet, it still almost as stealth as MGS4. Both terrible games, one however won't be terribly overrated.

Since, you know, both games are out. Try waiting till at least one of those games comes out then make your predictions.Does anyone else think this? Yea Yea I know Crytech has come out and said Crysis 2 will be the best in graphics on consoles but Killzone 2 was Geurilla's first PS3 game and they know they have the FPS console graphics king crown and I don't think they let Crytech have the crown that easily.
But right now I agree that Crysis 2 will set the standards in graphics on consoles. :P

I predict it wont be a success with the gamers. Gamers like graphics, storylines, controls, physical discs, all that great stuff that comes with owning a console. The Ipad has none of that. However, for the people that like to drink the proverbial Apple koolaid.... it may be a decent gaming device. But it will never appeal to the crowd that posts on the forums at GS.Don't get me wrong, I think there's a lot wrong with the iPad, but nothing that's relevant to this forum. (actually i've never tried an iPad, so i'm speculating at this point). Touch screen gaming has developed into a force, first with the DS and now with the iPhone/iPod touch.
My wager is this: I think that touch gaming's biggest limitation is that it has been confined to a tiny screen. The iPod touch in particular. Moving your fingers across that screen is an extremely limited control method. It's the reason the games are only a couple ofsteps better than computer solitare.
With that big screen you could fit in a lot of gaming elements. I want to try an RTS game on the iPad. It wouldn't get as much precision as you would on PC, but it would destroy the console RTS gaming experience.
With apple backing this thing the iPad will be a success. Nothing breeds success like success. Devs will give this thing a shot, and it will be a fruitful relationship
