Killzone 3 will dethrone Crysis 2 graphics wise

Does anyone else think this? Yea Yea I know Crytech has come out and said Crysis 2 will be the best in graphics on consoles but Killzone 2 was Geurilla's first PS3 game and they know they have the FPS console graphics king crown and I don't think they let Crytech have the crown that easily.

But right now I agree that Crysis 2 will set the standards in graphics on consoles. :P

So you say that an unreleased game will look better than KZ2, but then another unreleased game will look even better ?

Anyone in this thread that says Crysis 2 will Kill (pun intended) Killzone 3 and vice versa is just wrong. We don't even have a screenshot of KZ3. Let's just wait for both games to release some gameplay footage before we crown the graphics Emperor

With every lemming claiming Crysis 2 will dethrone Killzone 2 in console graphics, Killzone 3 is always in the back on my mind...

Honostly, it's not that big of a deal if a brand new game can visually outperform a game that's been out for almost a year and a half now. Crytek better PREY they don't eat their words if Crysis 2 on consoles doesn't even look as good as Killzone 2.

Why don't we first wait for an actual Killzone 3 pic, hell, why don't we wait for some info on that game, like you know, and official announcement.

I know we don't any info on either but that's not what I am going by. Crytek has been pretty confident lately with Crysis 2 having the best graphics every seen. What I am saying is that Geurilla pretty much knows the PS3 in and out by now, Killzone 2 still has the graphics crown for FPS and the only one that can overtake it is potentially Crysis 2 and I would love to see Geurilla outdo Crytek and make them eat their words with Killzone 3.

wow a unique fantasy world against New York City and a futuristic grey shooter, I still vote TLG, its animation and art-style will be phenomenal

nothign in KS and Crysis 3 will wow me as much as that flying creature, thats for sure

Guerilla may be able to beat Crytech, but I doubt KZ3 will even come close to Crytek's next game.

The "problem" with Crytek is that they are awfully ambitious.Cmon,they are shooting for the best looking game on all platforms,procedural deformation,destructible environment,very open gameplay type,impressive lightning and best a.i in business,cmon if them manage it with multiplat i dont care how good other games look because no body will push systems even close in comparison with Crytek.ND and GG made two amazing looking games but in comparison in pushing system it could very well be that Crytek will win.

I agree, we should wait first and see if Crysis2 will even look as good as Killzone2. Now a days, there is so much new content coming out so fast, people seem to forget past games, or just glorify the new releases. Killzone2 has it's flaws like all games, but c'mon, it's really an amazing achievement for graphics this gen. It pushed alot of devs. to step up there graphics, I am sure Crysis2 is in that group. We will see, but right now, Killzone2 is still tops.

Yet it wont dethrone Crysis 1 :P

I doubt Killzone 3 will top it. Crytek seems very intent on utilizing the PS3 and 360 to their limits.
