She would have no proof whatsoever. So I would just let her humilate herself.

evidence really doesn't mean much when a girl cries "rape".

innocent guys have gone to jail for rape without a shred of evidence against them, just because they pissed off the wrong girl.

ah yea i remember a story about a girl accused a football player(college or high school). he got sent to jail. then a couple years later she came out and said that she lied.

shits fucked up

Are you talking about Brian Banks? He want all spy and secretly recorded her saying that it was a hoax.

Nah I love my job. Low stress, 8-9 hours a day M-F, and interesting work.

Sounds like my job, although I never work more than 8 hours a day. I'm a co op at an engineering company and I get paid well for a college student. The job isn't very difficult typically and I work on lots of different stuff.

@MBirdy88: People take university courses in order to take advantage of the training and instruction from professional experts in the field.

And in this day and age you can get ALOT of it for free on the internet in many fields. regardless, University is a one time thing for most.... and nowadays "favourite hobby" is not cutting it. suggesting things like this over maths/science/engineering/technology related degrees is largely shooting yourself in the foot (or any other specialist field that is in demand) providing ofcourse oyu like them at all.

I ask... why does that subject require 3 years and a ton load of debt....? MOST of the information he needs would be accessible from the internet or librarys... sounds more like a spare time thing.. putting it bluntly. his family and freinds are right to suggest against it.

ofcourse no one can force him... its just strongly reccomended.

Any undergrad degree you can learn from books pretty much.

DC easily, their animated movies are usually great and flashpoint paradox was awesome. The batman trilogy is also good. The marvel cinematic universe movies are good but you always know what you're gonna get when you watch them - good action, some funny quips, and a barely there story.

Wii easily had the best exclusives of the consoles last generation. Looking to be that way this generation as well. You really have to like platformers to really get to their meat and potatoes though.

Super Mario Galaxy 1/2 are easily the best 3D platformers ever made if you ask me. Solid mechanics, great levels, and just the right challenge. DKCR is one of the best 2D platformers of last gen and while the New Super Mario Bros. games aren't that great, the mechanics are very good so they're still enjoyable even though the level design is pretty bad.

In my experience playing old PC games is not that smooth. For example I revisited Sands Of Time a couple of months back and it was fairly glitchy. There's a variety of fixes I tried (lots of helpful people) and managed to play through it, but it was a bit of a hassle and it never runned perfectly. Some problems with how timed puzzles worked nearly made it impossible to beat.

It's also my opinion that games don't age that well in general. This is especially true since I mostly enjoy action (/adventure) games and mechanics have generally not aged well. Things just don't feel right. For example Max Payne 2 is one of my favourite games of all times. When I tried to replay it after MP3 the shooting just felt wrong. It was like I was firing toy guns in comparison. I just couldn't get through it. When I replayed F.E.A.R. the gunplay was allright but movement is stiff and the way the hands look is just really awkward.

I dunno I don't think lack of BC is that big of a deal tbh. Imo games have just reached a fraction of their true potential and I prefer to look forward rather than back.

FEAR is one of the best single player FPS games of all time. It has amazing gunplay and I don't know what you're talking about with the movement.

And the hands look weird? Well no shit the game's over 8 years old.

That's kind of the dream. Dealing with kids once they're not babies is pretty easy and not having the stress of work would be awesome.

Imo, it's been going downhill for a while. It needs better attempts at balance. I don't think Valve will bother too much with it. MVM was awful.

What's wrong with MVM? It's obviously not for the hardcore type player, it's just a simple horde type mode you can casually play with friends. As for balance, there are a few vanilla and vanillaish servers.

TF2 is one of my favorite online shooters, but I take Quake Live over it.
