It may not be a 360 game and the rest of the voice actors suck badly in the series but Brian Cox performance in the Killzone series as Scolar Visari stands head and shoulders over anything else i've ever heard in a video game.

Yeah...nothing bad against Halo or anything, but the plotlines certainly weren't all that original.

A series that is overrated and overhyped way too much. To this day, I still can't see how it revolutionized or made the FPS genre better. It's just another FPS series to me.

Couldn't agree more. Halo: CE definitely created an intriguing world, but they didn't manage to do a good job filling it in going forward.

The first game did a pretty good job of evolving FPS when it was released, nothing really revolutionary really,but from Halo 2 onwards the only place it stepped things up with was with it's multiplayer offerings when they incorporated Xbox Live.

I believe "jb hi-fi" is an Ausi retailer and I think in Ausi games cost more then in the US. Correct me if im wrong?

Yeah JB Hifi is an Aussie retailer. I shop for some of my games there, though I do most game shopping online. Here is a wiki entryon video game pricing in Australia/PAL English speaking terrotories about the inflated costs.

As far as costings go I think they are about double what they should be worldwide. My reasoning is that they should be aiming to be far more competetive with DVD/Blu-Ray with a similar level ofinstall base. We have competetion between Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony within the video game industry, why not look at a bigger picture and try and become bigger then the movie buisness for peoples interest.

There is a half dozen Coleco vision games somewhere, I know Zaxxon is one of them. We bought it sometime in the early to mid 80's but the console bit the big one about 2 decades ago.

Probably the single greatest quote I've seen on the debate about games as art (as well as greatest games ever made) and I wonder how many people really understand what it means.

Time willultimately decide its fate(in gamings favor IMO) and it probably won't be soon. In the mean time lets just play games instead.

Which cheapened the entire story no end! What a load of **** that was!!!!This then almost made my ps3 die....When I just about threw it out the window. What a useless and poorly concieved attempt that story development was.

God of War 3 is an example of a great idea of a story, with a (somewhat) solid foundation to do something great, getting completely butchered. Possibly the most unsatisfying ending to a story arc I've experienced. I hope the writers got told to find a new day job!
