Sometimes I might buy a couple games in a month and sometimes I might not get a new game for several months. I think the last game I bought was Borderlands in January.
I buy them when ever but I have bought too many PS3 games this year I need to cut down and start saving. Last PS3 game I bought was GTA Episodes of Liberty City.
well last year i bought.... 6 games. So far this year the only game ive gotten is BC2, I will be getting RDR, but otherwise theres nothing else im interested in.
I buy full price ($60) games about 3-4 times a year, but I also buy alot of older games for about 20 bucks or so about every 3 weeks. I just got Ridge Racer 7 and Turok at Blockbuster for $5 a peice. And the very next day I found Dark Sector brand new at Kmart for $5, I could't pass that up
Depends on my funds and what's available. Most big games I get on release date. I tend to randomly pick things up off eBay just to add to my collection. Like today, for instance, I got a few great titles off the PSN and I got Zone of the Enders off eBay (MINT for 13 bucks!!!). I buy guys as much as I play them. I could be considered as much a collector as I am a gamer.
Depends on whether or not I want the game, and any type of deal any store offers for it. I rarely buy games MSRP. GOW3 came with a $20 giftcard, BBC2 came with a $20 credit, Gamestop glitches, etc. 3d Dot Game Heroes and SSF4 are day one buys for me.
About 1 every 3-4 months. Just not that many good games imo. I'm one of the slim few who can tell themselves what they want rather than letting the marketing do it for me. Willpower is key to life my young padawans.
I buy quite a lot of games, but I own quite a lot of platforms. I just buy the games I want regardless of the platform they're on. I've bought quite a few PS3 games over the last 6 months. Before that I went a few months without buying any.
3d Dot Game Heroes and SSF4 are day one buys for me.

I have about 350 hrs in SF4 andI'm sure thatSSF4 will drain away my time even more due to the additions of Dee Jay, Dudley, andmore ultras. 3D dot game heroes is also a day one purchase. I'm looking at like 400 hrs of gameplay for$80.....Amazing!
Anyways to answer your questoin TC,I usualy just buy games wheneverI feel like it, althoughI need to start cutting back =/. I thinkI spend too much sometimes.
I'm down to about 1 game every 2 months, with it getting longer between games. By years end I'll be getting 1 every 4 months.My little bro on the other hand is getting 3-5 games a week!
Anyways, I consistently buy about3-4 games per month, on average. March saw BFBC2, FFXIII, UC1, and Valkyria Chronicles added to my collection. I've already grabbed Assassin's Creed 2 this month, and I plan to pick up MLB 10 The Show and Star Ocean: The Last Hope International this month.
Having bought about 60 games, i've made a promise i will not buy another full price game, which i broke with Heavy Rain. But waiting for that to come down would be torture. Otherwise i know which games i want and once they hit a £25+something (that is $35) i get them no matter how many. It's not like they are going to drop much more if they are relatively new so no point in not getting more than a certain number in a month.
You should have put a"When ever I can afford" it option. I buy maybe two games during the year when I can afford it but the bulk of my games from my birthday and christmas so I have to wait for November and Decmber.
In the past 4 months... it has been around 10 games a month. But I'm taking a breather now.. because out of those 40 games or so.. I barely completed like half of them.. Next purchase will be Alan Wake.. then Halo Reach.. and maybe a few titles like Red Dead Redemption in between.. Just got Splinter Cell: Conviction yesterday.. loving it.
