People get so defensive about review scores. Kevin explained his reasons well enough for giving a 5, and several other critics gave it average ratings also. Not that the score is the most important thing anyway.
From what has been said about the game I know I wouldn't enjoy the game and nor would many others, and it would have taken a huge turnaround to draw me back in after I found FFXIII such a tedious slog to play. I don't mind SE trying new ideas with the battle mechanics, and sometimes it has worked in some aspects, but IMO they have stuck with one of the worst storylines in the FF franchise. FFXV really is the last chance for me or I'm done with the franchise outside of ports of classic games.
If you enjoy this trilogy then good for you, don't let the opinions of critics and the rest of us get to you.
@GreenReuben That's an ignorant thing to say. The market is dominated by AAA sales of shooters and sports games because that's how it is globally. NA is just as bad. If you're basing that on the weekly charts they don't include downloads, which is how most indies and niche games are sold anyway.
@soccer676 @anirin The problem is EA are aggressive about the licencing with FIFA so I think we've got to settle for that and PES. Apparently PES has improved a lot this year, so hopefully that will continue when it goes next gen.
On the whole I think FIFA is fine apart from a few frustrations. NBA 2K is the best sports series at the moment though I'd say.
The brief description below the video talks about skiing, and the screenshot of the video clearly shows skiing... and some of you thought this was a Game of Thrones thing? Seriously?
@Atragon @prime_l Why would people realistically not wait? I can easily wait a few weeks and just get the next gen version. I'll be busy with GTA5 anyway.
@TVsportsCOD I don't think there are enough classic cars yet, although a classic season may be something they'd consider down the line as it seems to be a progressive thing they're working on.
