It's still a hell of a lot of subscribers, so it's not exactly dead. Although I quit the game for good 4 years ago and never looked back.

The game has a great artstyle. I like the dark, gothic look whilst still being vibrant.

No one should be actually pre-purchasing games this early on in the development cycle, it's just asking for problems. I dunno how its even possible when the RRP isn't even set...

Interesting video there. I'm fine with the concept of these hybrid games, but developers need to ensure there are clear rewards for using a stealth approach rather than charging in guns blazing. Stealth is more fun IMO but can also be harder or more time consuming, so the incentive must be there, not just the gameplay mechanics.

At least we had no kids shouting FIST BUMP this year, although Microsoft clearly tried to make amends with rad woman

Diablo 3, Max Payne 3 and Dragon's Dogma are the main games left for me this year. Anything else is a bonus

I agree with him - it's a shame but I think he's got a point. Blur is great fun too, very underrated. The genre needs more fresh ideas and Blur gets its experimentation right IMO.
