you don't need the 1080p... You can have the regular 720p/1080i type of screen. I have one of those and works great. However, make sure of one thing: If you conect your PS3 by HDMI and you use your PC with DVI, you might experience some image problems... :) The image will be nice!
I played for some time in my PC monitor, with no sound... However I had Component inputs, and was easy to add a stereo sound. Good luck man, hope you can set a nice system!
you have component cables? If so, use the green, blue and red for the image on TV, monitor, etc. And the yellow, white and red to the sound. If you are looking for just one tipical way, use the banana that MonsieurX sugested. Just plug in the 2 of 3 cables in there, and use the input in your speakers :)
I'm hyped as well! Just hoping for major quality on the side quests... And a solid experience when comes to the mein quest. I want it fast so I can keep hours and hours doing side quest stuff :D
