[QUOTE="Comic_Gamer"]

[QUOTE="Black_Knight_00"] And this proves you haven't been on gamespot long enough to figure out user-to-user etiquette is not detailed word by word in the TOS. For instance, telling someone to "blog it" is not considered disruptive posting, but is considered rude by the community (which incidentally is pretty much what you did). Second, it's not about the levels: it's about proving yourself as a valuable member of the community, one that people will remember for his or her meaningful posts. There are low level users on these boards that contribute as much as the veterans. I would have objected to your behavior even if you were high level or the thread author were low level. You are flaming a user for making many informational thread and that makes you wrong. Hope that clears it.HilbillyRokstar

Telling someone that they are posting too much is not the same as telling someone to blog something. Once again, that's your interpretation. I could care less about being a valuable member of a community of people that I don't know. If you would have said that same thing to a high level user, then why did you point out my level when you called me out? Was it to belittle me, and call me a "forum noob"? It sounds to me like you are not practicing the exact "user to user etiquette" that you are preaching. As long as I stay within the terms of use I don't have to worry if "senior" members disagree with what I have to say. Good day.

He was only one of many. Also I went back through my posts and found that the "many" posters you spoke of amounted to you and "soapman72". Why cant you just accept/admit it was the wrong thing to post and move on?

Bet ya that doesn't happen, just sayin

[QUOTE="Comic_Gamer"]Dude why do you keep posting articles all day long about Battlefield? It's getting a little over the top. Besides, its not an xbox exclusive so you should post it in another forum. That said I'm happy that they are making improvements since the beta (even though that's common sense). Oviously its good that the glitches are gone. This is kind of a "captain obvious" post. Ha. SexyPorkins
Yet the game is coming out on the 360, so this forum is appropriate.

Agreed

My cable modem is downstairs and I run my laptop, 360, and ps3 wirelessly in my bedroom. I notice that I am getting much slower speeds when I cross the threshold for my room. Right outside my room I can get up to 50mbps but when I walk in my room it drops drastically down to the 3-5mbps range. This just started recently and I haven't added any new electronics in my room. Any ideas what could be interferring?

Dude, I've been with you on this so far but what are you talking about now? There are SOOO many games that get more challenging as the game goes on. That claim doesn't even make sense. And idk how you can call Dark Souls an action game, its way too slow paced. It's an RPG. The fact that the game isn't dependent on the speed of your fingers means it isn't an action game.

And this is what I don't understand. There seems to be this idea that every FPS is the same while all these RPGs are different from one another. I guess you could say Dark Souls is unique in that it takes from many different types of RPGs but the permanent health decrease thing is really the only new idea and that was in the last game.

I never said Dark Souls was going to be a crap game either. It just seems there are way too many people conforming to the idea that FPS are all the same and they suck while many of them are trying new things and not getting credit for it. Just because you have a gun and its a first person POV doesn't mean the game is like all the others. The funny thing is I'm not even a big FPS guy. I have at least 2 to 1 if not 3 to 1 more RPGs than FPSs but the blatant disregard for new ideas in the business is pretty rage inducing.

Dark souls could be great. And gamers know we always welcome these types of hardcore games. It just seems to me like the type of game that is generating all this hype out of nowhere and will lead to be a disspointment when people actually play it like Brink or Bulletstorm. I mean look at Battlefield. I personally liked the Beta but there are so many people that have already cancelled their pre-orders. They've only played the Beta version and people are already judging the game.
