It's a shame they didn't mention the Mass Effect series. I thought the cinematic feel and story telling of the games was awesome and their best feature.

I'm a little disappointed, but just a little. I was hoping for more but Risen 2 does set some expectations. The one thing that PB does better than anyone else is creating beautiful, immersive worlds that are just fun to be in. It sounds like I'll enjoy this even though the gameplay mechanics don't sound like the best.

I actually like this. I thought the Mako was kinda fun in ME1 although the exploration did get a bit tedious. If they can refine that away, I think it could be great.

This update on Bioshock seems to have three words that just don't fit: Return, Cult and Remaster.

Didn't we just get new content for Bioshock in the form of DLCs not all that long ago? It seems like something needs to be gone first before it can return. And doesn't cult imply a small band of rabid fans? I've always had the impression that the fanbase was more widespread and not so rabid than what I'd consider a cult following. And lastly, if I thought of games that I would like to be remastered, Bioshock is way down on the list. I still think it's a pretty amazing looking game visually. It hardly seems to be a game begging for that kind of attention.

An amusing video to be sure but I just have to say that an obvious difference between those games and Dark Souls is that the hardness is fun and sensible (well mostly).

Ahhhh. I'm so excited. I'm glad that it looks and feels like Dark Souls. I hate it when companies find an awesome formula and then feel the need to screw it up. "Can you still make magic if it's just more of the same" Yes! Not forever perhaps, but with a sequel. Yes.

@GyroGate Oh yeah, I was going to say that too. Yeah, that graphics didn't look all that great.

I'm really really excited about DS2 but this trailer didn't quite do it for me. I got excited in the beginning but once the actual gameplay video started I lost it a bit. A bunch of the scenes looked like the setting was right out of DS1 but just remastered. More of DS1 would be great because DS1 was great; I'm just nervous this sequel will get the "we know the first was awesome so we're going to screw that up by trying something new" treatment.
