The RAM you have to buy depends on the Mobo you already have or intend to buy. Most Mobo manufacturers will list the RAM that is compatible with them for various speeds. DDR2 800 would be faster than DDR2 667..Raz0redge

 checked the motherboard i picked it's pretty fancy. takes them all and 4 slots for it. What i was asking was if the speed makes a hugh difference for games and stuff? Processor would be the E6600 on vista.

Picking the parts for next computer but really don't know much about memory chips.

But then found this Corsair CVS 667mhz ddr2 2048 KIT at about half the price. Could buy 4 gigs of this at almost same price as other one.

What you guys think and any suggestions for quality and not expensive ram?

Not really sure how important ram is or if the difference between 667mhz or 800 mhz means little.

I'm 38 and pretty much since the start. My first ever was an oddessy this was before everything else. And i've had them all atari, coleco, nintendo, vic20, c64, amiga, ect.. I actually had 2500 games on commodore 64 hehehe.

Yeah multi kinda sucks with it unless you play with people you know. since its not hosted servers people can easily cheat.

Titan quest is my favorite of this type of game so far and would of been even better with D2 type servers.

Supcom i found boring, takes forever to build stuff and takes even longer to send them to enemy since the maps are so hugh. Maybe be more fun with 8 players but that demo really didn't do anything for me.

C&C3 I own all the previous ones and loved them all and got my ass handed to me in skirmish which was cool since generals is too easy for me now. I think i prefer building with units than a menu but still looked like a kick ass game. Getting that one for sure.

Wow not even a close race. And the basic game hardly cost anything and get a free month. Only get addon if your hooked and have a character getting to level 60.

Its so cheap to play it for a month how can you not try it? Should of seen insane ammount i spent when game first came out.

Anyway found nothing in there to explain that blue box and installed addon to titan quest and started playing again after not touching it for a few months and it pauses alot. I set everything to low and changed nothings so its interference from something but World of warcraft, nhl 2007, ect.. work fine.

Thats pretty much the system i want but was going with the 8800gts 640 and even that card is insanely priced.

Is there a hugh difference in performance between that one and the gtx?
