@Yatsukiii @Qmajinbuu 100 milion out of 7 billion isn't much. But just what does that say about the PS3 and XBox360 for they can't even reach, according to you, a tiny number.

@jhcho2 Not really, seeing how unlike the X box360 and PS3, the wii was making money with every system sold and not losing. So after seven years of non stop profit, I don't think a few rough months is putting them in debt.

@Yatsukiii Apparently, 100 million plus customers disagree with you.

@northArrow What do you mean they can't sell consoles? I guess you must of skipped past the story on Gamespot that explains how the Nintendo Wii just reached 100 million units sold. It's not only the third time they've had a system sell over a 100 million units, but it's far, far more units then the X-Box 360 and PS3 sold.

And although I will admit the number of Wii U's sold to this point are kinda low, gamespot is making it sound like the Wii U is completely doomed because it's not selling like the Wii did. But if you look at what PS3 sales were during it's first year, you can see that the numbers were pretty close to what the Wii U's are, yet the PS3 wasn't doomed and it didn't fail, now did it?

@oldschoolvandal I agree when you say that nintendo needs to get their act together. However, I disagree when you say the Market has grown since then. Yes, technology has gotten better, but our economy has gotten worse and alot of companies just aren't selling alot or making a profit these days. In this last year alone, there have been numerous games that were suppose to be big sellers, yet weren't and ended up costing the company that spent so much on making it look pretty alot of money . There have even been several gaming companies that have been shut down in the past year because of a lack of profit.

You're right, I can't tell you how much data is saved. However, that is because the government has been so secretive about this whole thing and only tells people the truth when they've been caught lying and have no other choice. Our leaders repeatedly said these programs weren't taking place. They repeatedly said they weren't spying. Even Obama in 2007 called programs like this illegal and said he wouldn't use them if he was elected. Then information that was leaked showed that our government were, in fact doing it. So once again our leaders repeatedly lied about the scope it's being done it, the amount of data being collected, the areas being collected from, and the people being collected from. But little by little, every single thing they have said has been proven to be nothing except one lie after another. What is known, though, is that information on average civilians IS being stored for years, and in some areas forever. You can easily look on the web site I sent you about license plates and see in some cities, that information is never deleted. As for you saying the XBox One won't be used for surveillance, I think i've proved that is exactly the purpose of the machine.

1- The CIA last year admitted they want to have many more devices that are inside peoples homes installed with cameras and connected to the internet for the purpose of spying(including gaming systems.)

2- MS reveals that their new system must always be online and turned on at least once a day.

3- It's revealed that MS is willing working with our government to help spy on the American people.

It doesn't take a genius to see what is happening here. If you really want to continue this discussion, we can. However, i've proven my point by showing how our government has ADMITTED they want to spy on all Americans, and even want to use gaming systems. But if you still think you have a leg to stand on, then i'm here waiting for a reply.

Sorry been away.

First off, why don't you just quit with all the cursing. It doesn't offend me at all, but i'm just letting you know that a person curses when they can't think of anything intelligent to say and are trying to make what they said seem longer.

". If there is no point, then its a WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. You really think a country in debt would spend billions to watch people in their homes with very little to no beneficial outcome" Nope, they wouldn't waste it, but who said the money is being wasted? They're getting exactly what they want by spying on everyone 24/7, so to them it's not a waste of money.

You ever hear of automatic license plate? Probably not, but its a tactic being used by police more as of late and it originally was intended to find stolen cars, drives in trouble with the law, or people being searched for. It is now(according to our own government) being used to track all citizens by mapping the driving patterns of everyone throughout the years and that data, in some areas, has been confirmed to be stored forever. Police Documents on License Plate Scanners Reveal Mass Tracking | American Civil Liberties Union

What about refrigerator cameras, ever hear of those? Well those exist too and the CIA has even went on record and said they want to use it(along with many other devices in the homes of the public such as dishwashers, doorbells, clock radios, ovens, GAME SYSTEMS, and tv's) to spy on the masses.

The CIA wants to spy on you through your TV: Agency director says net-connected gadgets will 'transform' surveillance | Mail Online

Smart appliances could help CIA spy, says Petraeus.

So are me and the CIA both lying about how they intend to use this technology?

@JynxGSpot @Qmajinbuu @Richrward22 @bloodynapkin

Using facebook as an example, I know their employees don't search through each and every comment, post, picture, and message. But just why is every comment, post, picture, and message saved? After it's been filtered and been proven to not be related to future attack, it's saved and stored for god knows what. So it's very strange that the calls, texts, and emails of every American are being collected, scanned, then saved even though they have nothing to do with a foreign power.

Because this is less to do with stopping a terrorist attack or foreign power and more to do with spying on americans all the time to turn this country into a police state. You said it yoursef, if it doesn't relate to a foreign power, why spy? And it's pretty obvious that the entire American public isn't related to a foreign power, yet we're still being spied on 24/7

@Richrward22 I know what you're saying, the government can just lie when they want to get what they want. I understand that and that is completely true. But what i'm saying is the major policies in the U.S., the laws and bills put in place, our attitude toward certain things and then neglect on others, isn't determined by our leaders in the government. They're determined by the companies and cooporations that control them. And in this case, MS becaues they back the U.S. with so much money, tech, and support, that the U.S. government wouldn't dare "order" MS to do anything. If MS complied to the U.S.'s request to hand over that info, it's because MS wanted to hand it over and not becaue the U.S. told the too.
