@nickpeck36 @Qmajinbuu @sirkibble2 You must also realize the countries that did get the Xbox One in November were the countries where they knew it would sell well, like in Europe and North America. Countries where the Xbox 360 was always lagging in third place (Japan for instance), or countries where they knew the Xbox One wouldn't sell due to their attitude toward America, the NSA, and Microsoft helping spy( Almost all of South America)will be getting it later because they knew those countries wouldn't make much of a difference. But that still doesn't change the fact that Microsoft is still silent about how many Xbox One's people have bought.

If the Xbox One was truly selling well and was in second place, Microsoft would have no problem at all telling the world this information. If the Xbox One was in a very close third, Microsoft would once again have no problem telling the world they're in third, but only because Nintendo had a year on them and they have yet to release their system in the rest of the world. But none of that has happened and Microsoft has instead chosen to say nothing. And it's been a week since the Xbox One was marked down for a second time, yet there is STILL no word on how many have been sold which is a strong indicator that the Xbox One is failing horribly. Just think about it, It's safe to say that If the price cut would have had any effect on sales we would have probably heard about it by now. In just two days we heard from Nintendo about how much the Wii U sales had jumped because of Mario Kart, and lets not forget how Microsoft was extremely quick to tell the world back in November that it had sold a million units after the XBox One was on sale for only 24 hours. So don't you think if they had been a significant jump on Xbox One sales in the last week, Microsoft would have already pointed that out??

@sirkibble2 @Qmajinbuu Actually that is false. If you have a brand new system out, you want as much publicity as you possibily can get, which means every time your system makes a big milestone or big accomplishment you are going to brag about it. Yet the only accomplishment Microsoft has been able to brag about over the past six months is how they sold three million units last year, during christmas time no less. And ever since that time, they've won't give a current update on how many systems people have bought.( Wait I am wrong, they did give an update on how many Xbox 360s have been sold, yet still no word on how many Xbox ones.)

Now if the two price drops were to really keep up with Sony, like you claim, Microsoft would at the very least give an update on how many X box Ones people have bought to prove people like me wrong(Like with the 360). After all this is all about publicity and what would be better then proving people like me wrong by showing the systyem is really selling, right??? The fact they refuse to release this information can only mean the system is selling badly and if you want more evidence of that you simply have to look at how the Xbox one had a price cut when it was just 4 months old, and another three months later. No matter how you try to spin it, it's a extremely bad sign when a brand new systems has to cut it's price twice in less than six months time. And it's even a worse sign when they have to sell the system without it's main selling point(the kinect) just to generate sales.

Have you seen Wii U sales lately? There is no denying that the PS4 is in the lead, but it's clearly visible to see the Wii U is in 2nd and the Xbox One is in dead last. You want to prove me wrong, then there is an easy solution. Simply show me how many units the Xbox One has sold so we can compare it with the Wii U and PS4, oh wait that's right for "some reason" Microsoft refuses to tell us! Oh well, we can all be happy that the 360 is selling at least.

Now do you really want to continue this debate, or are you gonna admit you're wrong?

I noticed you forgot to mention this little fact in your news article which is funny because you never seem to forget to add it when it's a article on Nintendo. No need to thank me, just happy to help out and keep this site fair!

"Spencer said that Microsoft has the "right team" in place to develop the new Crackdown, though he did not name a specific studio. Leading the team, however, is Dave Jones, who worked on the original Crackdown. After having a successful launch during the holiday season, the Xbox One has been struggling as of late. In the last six months Microsoft has refused to release to number of systems sold to customers, has cut the price of their new system twice, and are now selling Xbox ones without the kinect, it's main selling point."

@DVONvX @noprisonerz LOL it's funny you're still trying to debate this. The government last year said they want your game system to spy on you, as well as your fridge, your doorbell, your oven, and everything else that can be connected to the internet. So to deny what the government has themselves stated shows how blind you are.

@DVONvX @Qmajinbuu Microsoft have stated that every Xbox one will come equipped with a "special"version of skype. And Skype is one of the programs that Microsoft gave the government complete access too. So whether you're using the camera or not, the Xbox One still has the ability to spy on you(Might not be able to see you without kinect, but it can still collect information and spy on you when you don't want it too)

@DVONvX

@noprisonerz

I have been reading this post from the very beginning and I really didn't want to get involved, but I must make a few statements here to clears things up about Microsofts "innocence" in the spying matter...

Quick timeline::

-The NSA has been spying on Americans for years

-Microsoft has said that they've been working with the government for years -Microsoft has said they've been working on the Xbox one for years

-Just last spring, the CIA came out and talked about how they're excited about the new smart tech that will allow them to spy on the public through everyday household devices, including T.V.'s, dishwashers, dryers, washing machines, ovens, fridges, even gaming systems.Smart appliances could help CIA spy, says Petraeus.The CIA wants to spy on you through your TV: Agency director says net-connected gadgets will 'transform' surveillance | Mail On ( Please not that this was during the same time Microsoft had not only been hard at work on the Xbox one, but was working with our government to help them spy on the people)

-The true nature of the NSA program is revealed, but the government and Microsoft both swear they're not spying on the public

-When it's revealed that's a lie, Microsoft swears that the government made them and they truly respect peoples privacy( If this was the case, however, then why was Microsoft one of Obama's biggest funders in 2012? Kinda strange that the government made Microsoft work with them against their will, yet they then go and become one of the biggest supporters for the very administration they claim is making them betray their customers)Top Contributors to Barack Obama | OpenSecrets

-Once everyone gets wise to and starts to put two and two together, Microsoft gets scared and constantly promises their system won't spy even though they've funded this administration who has secretly spied, has been working closely with the government on helping them spy, and the government has admitted it wants to use common devices in peoples homes to spy.

So I'm sorry, but based on the evidence, the Xbox One's purpose is not to entertain the public, but to spy on the public.

@chipwithdip Tom McShea is a liar! He claims GS doesn't use half points anymore, but didn't Gone Home, which was released less than a month ago, get a 9.5?

@TomMcShea

@chipwithdip

You don't use half points anymore? Well that's funny becaue just like month, this site gave Gone Home a 9.5. So saying you don't use half points anymore is nothing except a lie, plain and simple.(

You know it doesn't take a genius to see the bias this site has toward nintendo and the favoritism it has toward Microsoft. It's really annoying seeing people like you trying to justiy your hpyocrisy too. If you don't like Nintendo(and it's obvious you don't) that is fine for that is your opinion. But for you and GS to constantly and repeatedly talk down on Nintendo like they're doomed(even on the rare stories where they have good news to report) while at the same time continually praise X-box one even though it's proven they're new system will spy on the public is a bias view.
