GSP dedicates his life to fighting. Just because the Seal would be trained in dirtier styles such as Krav Maga doesn't mean he would ever be able to match GSPs speed and strength
Well considering that the people that wear them reduce their sperm count to the point they will be unable to reproduce, I would imagine that the gene that causes people to wear said jeans will go away soon.
Don't know if you guys have noticed, but at my campus lots of folks are running around barefoot (apparently to raise awareness that there are kids without shoes in the world). My question, how does this help anybody anywhere (besides the ego's of the barefooters)? It seems to me like a marketing ploy for Tom's. The Salvation army could put shoes on a whole freaking village for the amount of money people spend on a single pair of Tom's. So am I just being cynical and bitter or is this the stupidest idea ever? (/rant)
My purpose is to love God, live the life granted me, and try my best to make him proud :). It's hard to find purpose without love of some kind, and in my experience loving God is the greatest purpose a man can have.
Regarding Chaotics original questions (since this topic has longs since de-railed), Homosexuals can be saved. Here's how I interpret the bible's stance on this. A person can be born with a tendency towards homosexuality just like a person can be born with a tendency towards lying. Are you sinning just because you have a tendency to lie? Of course not, in fact you show that much more moral fortitude for resisting. I believe that it's the same way for homosexuals. You may have physical desires, but the sin is acting upon them. An for an unforgivable sin, the passages in Matthew and Mark refer to Pharisees accusing Jesus (in the flesh) of being demon possessed. This is after they had witnessed him perform miracles and what not. What I gather is that the real "unpardonable sin" is just unbelief. If you continue in unbelief obviously your sin is not forgiven. There is no sin, aside from unbelief, so great that God will not forgive it.
This argument again... The Majority of Christians today, are old earth creationists. And the concept that the bible and evolution cannot co-exist is silly.
