Ordered my laptop the other day from cyberpower. Read some poor reviews but some good ones as well. The price and the special programs they had going on (I'm still going to get another 100 off mail in rebate) sold me eventually. It's in production right now, fingers crossed that all goes well. So here are the specs, opinions?? Anybody else have any experience with cyberpower?

Alright I know you guys see a lot of these topics. My old Gateway FX laptop is starting to poop out on me (random blue screens, the case is cracking etc...) so I'm looking at new laptops. I want a dedicated gaming laptop. Sreen size is not an issue and I'm not a stickler about it being full 1080p. I just want a fast quad core and as good a video card as possible for the price (don't know much about the new generation of vid cards I stopped paying attention after the 9800). Don't care about some stupid alien skull glowing all over my case, I'm looking for value and performance. Also I'm a student so I'm eligble for those discounts and whatnot. Thanks SO much for your help! The community here has always been extremely helpfull to me in the past!

Why dont you want a desktop? A 1000 dollar desktop is much better then every laptop, even the most expensive ones.

Portability. I'll be between College and Home all the time and it's a pain to haul a desktop around. I

I'm actually physically aroused by beautiful cars and planes (old camaros/mustangs or WWII vintage fighters). Is that weird? Probably.
