It's pretty funny how people who clearly have no clue or interest about competitive fighting games critisize them for releasing an updated version of SFIV. This is pretty much the only great title Capcom has released in recent memory and every iteration has added significant changes and new content.
Do we really need to mention Gerstmanngate one more time? We already have proof that things like these happened on this very site. It doesn't matter if reviewers are directly paid off or influenced by advertisers.
IGN was partially owned by Rupert Murdoch for a very long time and used to give high scores to big budget releases and low scores to indie games.
I generally trust Gamespot reviews nowadays and I know these accusations must be tiring but belittling us won't do you any good.
You're telling me there's no reason to doubt these guys' impartiality?:
This doesn't warrant a Feedbackula. The "negative" voices are basically saying that the prices are way too alluring. Now that's a good problem to have.
@TomMcShea @Supabul If this is 9.9, then what is Ocarina of Time? Don't get me wrong, the game looks fine but ultimately a little too safe, a little too "Hey, remember the good old days?". Nowhere near the quantum leap the franchise took back in 1998. Maybe expectations are just too low for my liking because people have been disappointed so many times in recent memory.
