GameSpot's Next Gen Guide - PlayStation Store
Dive into the PlayStation Store for the latest games and movies with our Next Gen Guide.
my favorite PSN store is to sign up PS Plus in the PS Store so I can download free games and buy PS Plus Discount PSN Games to the PS3, PS4, & PS Vita while I at home or on the go places.
Favorite thing about the playstation store is. That it actually works, and works well/fast on PS4. Also, the cross-buy/cross-save functionality of it through the Vita/PS3/PS4. Overall awesomeness!
Favorite feature of the PS Store has to be how sleek the UI is and not overly complicated they have made it. Everything you're looking for is right there in your face like it should be.
I love my ps4...my one and only complaint (which isn't even a big deal) is that I can't change the blue background. The ps vita gives you that option so maybe sometime down the line Sony will add this to an update. Its something small and simple but I enjoy customizing the home screen to fit my mood
My favourite feature has to be the fact you can download apps without needing PS Plus, vastly better than on XBL where you need gold, in my opinion.
My favourite PSN feature has to be the search function. The way it filters out the content you're looking for makes it so much easier to find what you are looking for. A subtle, overlooked feature, the search function is a massive time-saver, and the most useful PSN feature.
I love the update UI, and the ease of use from PS3 store carried over to PS4. Sony made it easy all of the way.
I would have to say i love the no paywall cause its annoying that you cant do anything worth while on xbox unless you bought live
PSN Plus blows away Live IMO, the free games are easily the best feature if you are a PS Plus member.
my favorite feature is the ps+ you know free games each month and other games that are cheeper than the others on the psn
The free games for PS Plus subscribers is probably one of the best features. It's especially useful for consumers who are new to the console and can't just walk into the nearest store and buy an entire library games. Also no pay wall.
The instant game collection is actually the best thing about it. The fact that I can pay $50 a year for free games is still amazing to me.
All this talk about connectivity and online shopping. But no one mentions that it's only available in limited countries. There are still countries that are not even selectable in the country list and force us to insert false information. Estonia for example...
I like the ps4 interface its more well organize it looks better and more nice, its no stranger if you already own a ps3 you can tell that it loads faster the search function still the same. I like ps plus discounts plus free games worth it for the 1 year subscription and they have it separated into categories, also that the first page will tell of a new pre-order that can be download or a discount game the apps are well organize and easy to find specially games. i like that you are able to upgrade the game from ps3 to ps4 and that it does not matter if you have the digital copy or physical copy it ill still upgrade for the dlc you own so you don't have to buy it full price.
I'd say my favorite feature about the PSN store would be a tie between PS+ for the free games and the PSOne Classics section.
Definitely the free games for PS Plus subscribers. I also like the fact that the PS Store loads much faster on the PS4.
Ps+ FTW. Free games which you have to give back if you don't renew. They are not gone forever once you renew you can play them again. It's like renting for a year.
My favorite part is the ps plus...and how its an overall failure but please I might change my mind if I win one. Thx.
My favorite Store feature for PS Store, would have to be the PS Plus Section. They generally give a wide variety of games & genres for a decent discount off, for PS Plus Subscribers. Each month you get a good sum of games for free that I'd generally look over & probably never buy. But with this feature, I am able to then check out more games that i might have over looked & not considered. I have found alot of indie gems this way. Whats also pretty cool is that often times those free games come packed with the Vita version as well. So if you have both console & Vita, you can then utilize playing that game also on the go. Vita has some nice titles that I'd love to play using this feature. PS Plus store also offers Beta invites to games that you may have been anticipating for in the past few years. I remember when Killzone 3 had its beta invite, it went on for quite a few months, but i played it for the entire Beta & then months after the Beta was over, I was given a free shirt in the mail from Sony for participating so heavily in the Beta. That type of gratitude, heavily impressed me.
What I like the most of PlayStation Store are the discounts in general and the personalized offers and discounts for selected users. I got PS+ for $30/year, a year ago in a general discount and $10 for one year of Music Unlimited and when that service were about to expire they gave me three more months of service for $3.
I like 2 things: the nice categorization on the side which means it's always available for you to access without mashing the back button or anything like that. And also the fact that all the apps don't require ps plus, so no double subscriptions to watch some netflix or listen to music from bbc iplayer. I love playstation!!!
The speed of the PSN store is nice on the PS4. I like the improvement. Feature wise, it's always been the apps like Crackle but free PSN+ free games is the best feature.
Synchronize with web page and app is by far my favorite feature of playstaion network. It makes me feel connected with my PS3. Though it's even better that playstation app isn't a SONY mobile exclusive, I still have some PSN security concern since the incident during 2011. With remote control of PS4, I'm really looking forward to a greater experience on PSN when I buy the PS4.
