You've bought your brand new Xbox One or PS4, but it's so confusing! How do I do the thing with the stuff and make the wotsit play nice with the thing-a-me-jig??! Relax, GameSpot is here to help, with this series of helpful how-to videos.

IDK guys, I've gotten and sent quite a few friend requests from randoms off of BF3. If you have a mic and that game, try getting into a squad right away. Sometimes open chat can be overwhelming IMO. Especially with that one guy that has tons of feedback, or that are playing when theres a party going on or something. hah
I miss open chat. I rarely play with friends online any more since most of them are busy at any given time. It was fun listening and joining in with the banter between matches.
Add me on PSN: "NateIsGod4." I have Killzone Shadowfall, BattleField 4, Knack, NBA 2K14 (just bought 1 hour ago), Assassin's Creed 4, Need For Sped Rivals, & Call of Duty: Ghosts. Please add me I will add back within the hour! I never party chatted before, let's do it!
Both consoles have always lacked any social features apart from party chat, lone wolfs most of the time or tight knit groups, nothing has changed sadly and can't rely on IRL m8s to be on all the time.
Some looking for group system would be better imo, matchmaking is terrible, LFG Uncharted 3 co-op. no racist 12 year olds etc.
@SteamyPotatoes Lone wolves or tight knit groups, yup that's true, not much in between.
