I won't lie, at this point in my life I don't have any real close friends that play games. It's a first for me. I chose Xbox One simply because I like Xbox Live and because I like the exclusives more on Xbox then PS4. If I had gaming friends yes I would tend to play what they were playing because it's awesome to have friends to play with.

I have to say I love my WiiU, probably will love my Xbox One a bit more though. I agree with what Sony says though, I don't always like the idea of looking down at my hands while playing but then again eye doctors everywhere say you should focus on something else other than your screen every 20 minutes when playing games to help reduce eye fatigue so why not another screen?!? Either way the WiiU is fun and with better games coming out it's not a bad low price system. However I do think when it comes to touch sensors Sony's idea may be a little more practical.

@Cristhian_Cobas You forgot to add the price of your plane ticket to that idea, that would be an "unofficial" import cost.

I'm getting it on XB1 at launch. I'm currently playing BF3 on my XB360 but money is tight what with buying the XB1, AC4 and BF4 so the extra $10 is money I don't feel like spending just so I can play BF4 on XB360 for a few weeks while I wait for the "real" experience on XB1. Now that's not a pun against BF4 on XB360, I loved playing beta on XB360 I just don't feel the need to rush out and get it. BF3 will be enough for me till XB1 launch... that and GTAV.

@AggrandizedUser I think the quotes were misinterpreted. Sony said 10 years for PS3 but never said that PS3 would be the only active Playstation during those years. Read this: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/307428/ps3-will-last-a-minimum-of-10-years-sony/ in it Sony states that PS2 is still selling, so what they mean is that PS3 will be supported for 10 years or more not that it will be the leading system for 10 years or more. Even with what people are saying now "10 year plans" and junk I wouldn't be surprised if we see a next-next gen in about 7-9 years. There is always an overlapping period when new generations start I think what gamers can argue is that when a new generation starts the old generation quickly gets left in the dust within a year or two at the most when it comes to devs creating compelling content on old platforms. So to us the gamers yes the old gens are "dead" for our purposes of interpretation.
