@Stevieweiser I'm just looking forward to playing BF4 on my X1 with 64 other people, for me that's enough to justify getting the system at launch. As for the hardware being overpriced I don't know. Check out http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/10/15/the-real-cost-of-gaming-inflation-time-and-purchasing-power . Also I doubt the X1 or PS4 will go down in price until holiday 2014. I agree though in the sense that most launch lineups are a bit lackluster and it's the post-launch games that truly rock. I know Destiny is the highest game on my radar right next to ESO

If I had a ton of cash I'd buy the rights to Amalur and the MMO... sadly I don't :(

@xMat7x Agreed, the first race just will never load. I'm always waiting on other players to join or waiting for the session to load. I've deleted the patch and my first character as they advised but nothing changed.

@chuckles471 I agree, this is my fear for the WiiU at the moment. It's great right now because everyone is developing for a similar set of system specs, but once the current gen dies out completely and everyone is playing on next gen what will happen then?

Then again I think that nintendo's best bet is to convince people to make unique games on the WiiU to draw people over. If you can pick Call of Duty on your Xbox or buy a whole new system to play the same game most people would just stick with their currently owned system and save some money.

I love my WiiU. I've been playing ME3 on it a lot as of late online and Call of Duty. I hope that Ubisoft can keep coming out with fun stuff, I enjoyed AC3 on my WiiU and will likely get AC4 too. I don't know how well porting will work once Xbox 360 & PS3 go the way of the dodo but until then I hope companies like Ubisoft keep making games for the WiiU, it's my current favorite system right next to my PC.

I agree 100% with what you've said. I'm a husband, father, employee, gamer and many other things. Since I moved from my home town I haven't had the opportunity to find a gaming community where I live now so I've been isolated. I use message boards and sites like this to try and connect with fellow gamers. When I got my first friend on Wii U's network playing Mass Effect 3 I was ecstatic. However now I find myself walking away from commenting or even looking at the comments on these web pages because so many people are just fightning all the time.

Honestly I want to "talk"/write with fellow gamers not fight with them. I deal with enough conflict in my day to day life the last thing I need or want is to deal with it when I'm trying to have fun.

@justin01 @Catz_03 I have to agree with you here justin01. Star Wars fans are more numerous and vicious and if he doesn't deliver a good experience with the new SW movie it could end or at least stunt his ability to make movies and to be a power in the industry.

I think the only cool thing about the Vita TV is that you can stream your PS4 to another TV in the house. Other then that, in the words of Nintendo USA CEO Reggie: "Mehh".

Wish they'd said something like three weeks ago. I switched to PC (and this was one of my reasons why).
