Looks pretty awesome. Only thing I think they need to fix is the items/weapons still flashing during the cutscene, that's kinda immersion-breaking for the narrative. Other than that, great stuff.

@coryseals1987 @Kamina85 Aside from school shootings (since the media/some politicians love to make video games a scapegoat) none of those problems are video game-related. Your original complaint was about being sick of the articles focused on women. If you don't like reading about issues of sexism in the industry then don't check out video game articles. And just because there are worse issues out there doesn't mean the lesser issues aren't relevant. By that logic, a teacher could just stop a PTA meeting and yell, "hey, the cafeteria menu doesn't matter, there are kids starving across the world!" Minor problems are still problems, that's why they're called PROBLEMS. When a character is removed from a cover of the game itself due to outdated thinking regarding women then yes it is a problem. Just because lives aren't at stake doesn't mean it shouldn't be addressed.

@Death_Masta187 @Kamina85 TellTale Games' The Walking Dead is the only one that immediately comes to mind. There would be a bunch of Japanese games with Asian leads that would qualify but naturally Asian is their "white" in their country.

@coryseals1987 @Kamina85 I wasn't talking about the cover of a game magazine, I said the cover of the game itself. I couldn't care less what a magazine shows but the cover for the actual game is important. And yes, there is a difference between the two problems, however your logic was flawed and I showed why. Just because a problem is less of a problem compared to another one does not change the fact that it's still a problem.

@coryseals1987 @Kamina85 It was NOT the developer's decision, it was the publisher's decision even though Ken Levine and all the other developers were like, "you idiots, Elizabeth is even more important to the tale than Booker himself". Also simply choosing to turn a blind eye to bullying because you personally feel nothing can improve is lazy. By that logic Martin Luther King Jr. should have never spoken against racism because I'm sure back then it was not looking good for black people to get the rights they deserve. The fact is the head of that tournament is expected to make sure the event is free of sexual harassment and the like. His nonchalance towards the situation was completely unacceptable.

@coryseals1987 Because there are still issues in the industry. Elizabeth was removed from the cover of Bioshock Infinite because of the concept of a girl being on a cover scaring away male customers (eew, cooties!), Ellie was almost removed from the cover of The Last of Us for the same reason, Remember Me was passed by several publishers because "games with female leads don't sell", female players were being harassed at a major fighting game tournament and the head of it said it was okay because "that's the way these things are", etc. We care because IT IS A PROBLEM and I'm getting tired of people acting like there's nothing to be fixed here.

@Tremblay343 Which is kinda silly since Joel has just as many scenes where he's emotionally torn up. Also Joel ended up needing Ellie as much as the other way around.

May not sound like a lot at first, but a price drop/sales and the upcoming holiday season are sure to get starter packs flying off the shelves. Plus it feels like Disney has a lot of room to expand the gameplay with future installments/figures, whereas while the first Skylanders was fun it doesn't feel like the sequels are adding enough variety IMHO.

Microsoft's butthurt levels are off the scale!!!

But seriously, listen to this nonsense: "it disrespects the teams that have put thousands of hours (already) into the development of the product." Um, tough? Just because something required a lot of people and time to make doesn't mean it's above mockery. By that logic I guess none of us can ever badmouth the Batman and Robin movie ever again......
