Yeah, OWG is so much easier to say than sandbox...
Other than that, good video. The melee combat in Sleeping dogs was pretty awesome. I really enjoy superpowers like in Crackdown, Prototype and SR4 as well. Then there's the AC series which is entirely different. I'm really tired of FPS because it's basically the same thing all the time but there is a fair amount of variation in sandbox games.
@meatz666 Honestly as long as swearing is not directed at someone I don't think anyone should get upset about it. In some places it's okay and in some it's not. I think the majority of the internet is included in the former and censoring is just stupid.
After years of playing video games one thing that I learned to take for granted was the ability to aim straight down the sights. Just hold the left trigger and you'll shoot where you're looking. IRL you have to actually try to hold the gun straight and line up the sights with your eye.
What is it that video games supposedly teach people? That if you point a gun at someone and pull the trigger they die? That's all the thought that you have to put into most shooters.
@deschutes Purely unobjective? Did you happen to notice the red line under that word when you typed it in? That means it's not a word. You just made it up.
The only problem I have with this is using cookies to store things like video resolution and background color. I tend to clear my cookies every month or so and I don't want to reset a bunch of stuff every time. This is what profiles are for. Why can't I set these things in my profile settings?
