@Naylord I agree that games should not be rated 7-10 like they usually are, but 5/10 is supposed to be average. If you compare this game to other FPS of the last 2-3 years I think it is ridiculous to say that this game is below average. Its not a 10, maybe not even a 7, but a 4? No, definitely not.

I'd love to see Tom break down his rating and score the graphics/sound, visual design, game mechanics, story etc. separately. I usually defend his opinions but 4/10? I thought his complaints were mostly valid but I can't score this game below a 6 due to visual design and story alone. Sure, the story conflicted with the gameplay a bit but it wasn't *that* bad. The shooting did feel like filler to me at times but it worked. I don't remember any bugs. The mechanics were average at worst. There was nothing *bad* about the game. 4/10 just doesn't fit here.

I wouldn't be surprised if this "option" to share data was enabled by default.

The unlock system was my biggest complaint about the last game. I put 40+ hours into the game and I don't think I ever killed anyone with a jet other than going kamikaze. I never unlocked any usable weapons for it and just gave up.

Does anyone else remember when Assassin's Creed was about assassinating? I miss that. Just give me a target and let me take care of it how I want to. The Borgia towers in ACB were a lot of fun. The game just said, "kill this guy, then climb a tower." That's what the series is about to me and that's what they should focus on.

@quain-chi LOL driving around the map was one of the few things I didn't like. The constantly respawning checkpoint guards were really annoying.

There were plenty of awesome things about the game though. I really liked having no HUD. Like the article said, the map was an actual map that you held while you're driving. So much better than a menu. IEDs, mortars, starting wildfires with molotovs, having a malaria attack in the middle of a firefight. There was a lot that makes this game stand out in a very stagnant genre and I want to see more of it.

Looks like CoD. Random respawns, spawnkilling and running around aimlessly shooting RPGs. At least it doesn't have a knife that kills faster than bullets. Probably...
