I used to check out Gamespot and Gametrailers for opinions but stopped doing that. Gametrailers seems to be going downhill in ratings last couple of years, and also they always check the 360 version of a game and critic the graphics based on only the 360 version which isn't fair imo since .. well.. 360 isn't the most capable piece of hardware these days. And Gamespot lost credibility when they started deleting user reviews on GoW3 and pulling some weird stunts by freezing the user score for MW3 atleast on launch day. That and a metascore of 8.5 for MW3 while the userscore is around 2.5. I find it hard to believe nearly all critics rated this game as "very good to amazing" while clearly, it is not. However this is no flame or hate or anything, merely an example to point out the obvious. It's a shame that it seems more and more about bribery now and less about honest reviewing. I'd take a long and detailed user review with lots of people agreeing over a professional review anytime these days.

Probably it will turn into f2p in 6-9 months.murekkep

lol, good one. Not a chance of that happening, even Rift isn't F2P these days and that game is not very good at all. SWTOR can suck for all we know and still make assloads of cash simply because of Bioware. And because of Star Wars.

But I don't really know what my thoughts are about this game. I hope I get a fulfilling KOTOR experience but other then that I have no real standards about it I just want to play and see what it's like.

What, since when did CoD invent the single player campaigns?

Well the difference could be huge. The movie could either be made with "money" in mind, or the movie could be made with "passion" in mind. Yeah... I'll go for the latter.

I agree with the user who gave 4 examples, spot on I'd say. However I'd love a change of pace. I'm getting quite sick of all the American activity's, flags (too.....many.....flags.... seriously they are prominent in pretty much every game/film/tv show :p), armies etcetera in my game, really begins to grow stale. Probably the reason why I always enjoy playing as a different nationality in games where it's possible.

Brainwash, pure and simple. That's the whole point of spamming advertisements, and CoD is quite good at that. I'm sure most of the people barely think about it and just go into buy-mode without giving it a fair thought.

Well everyone here who claims the SP sucks without having tried it well... those opinions are worthless. Don't judge what you don't know and don't echo other peoples hate. I, for one, read all the hate and decided to give the game a chance. It's actually a pretty decent campaign, no better no worse than other stuff that's available today. But due to the amazing sound and graphics it still grasped me and I played through it without getting bored significantly. However, I did feel that all those QTE's should've been removed, especially near the end. The game looks so good that if a QTE starts it's hard to focus and not just sit back and relax, it really breaks immersion.

I completely agree with mrbonjangles. I liked all the older shooters as a kid...grew up playing Doom/RoTT/Wolf3d/Blood/ect/ect...most shooters I play today are far better though. Doom is the definition of corridor shooter lol...this "dungeon crawl" non-sense is just silly. Anyways I really don't care, keep playing the oldies and living in the past, I on the other hand will be playing modern marvels like Crysis, BF3, STALKER, and other amazing games.Renevent42

I like how you point out those 2 games. They were released in a time before pc gaming took a nosedive into **** I'd say the trend to release these so called interactive movies had to be post 2008 - 2009.

Well if I play RAGE with my 6870 on the 11.9 catalyst driver than I get lousy performance. However, if I play it on 11.10 Preview 3 than suddenly the game is smooth as butter. Amazing FPS increase, easily 20-30 if not more.

Well so far the little information I've gathered leads me to believe it's going to be a good title. I was a great fan of Morrowind and had my fun moments in Oblivion ( even though it wasn't even close to the level of fun/immersion that Morrowind offered ) and I have no reason to think they're gonna screw up this part. If anything, I think it can be their best entry in the series if they combine the good things from previous games without the flaws. Now, knowing Bethesda, it's likely that the game will be fairly unplayable at release and the first week after, but maybe that won't be the case either, who knows. I wouldn't mind if the quality is higher than Oblivion.

The things I hated most about Oblivion was it's flat and uninspirational map design, auto scaling and stale combat/graphics/interactions. It seems almost all of those things get worked out except for the scaling apparantly, which is not the biggest problem if the rest is of good quality. I do hope they hire a lot more voice actors because it got tiresome listening to the same orc with 50+ faces. Might just be the supressed fanboy in me but honestly, I just can't see this game fail.
