Don't blame the developer, blame the publisher. It's the publishers that want to squeeze every possible dime out of games these days and developers aren't allowed much free reign in this department, unfortunately.

I definately keep an eye out for EA or Activision. But so far it hasn't really altered my purchases. But it's getting there ;p

I consider them detailed opinions and judge for myself afterward. If I still can't make up my mind then I go watch some footage and see it then.

thx for what ever positive comments were given... u lot making it out like am some clown or something....but yeah am not a graphics freak.... what i mean is i like polished experiences and generally when there is a lack of polish, its the visual side that hurts the game.... and example... i wont play a game coz it looks good, i.e. RAGE might look real nice but i cant spend time playing the game coz the game has ancient design and a pretty crappy story.FreshPrinceUk

Well not to be rude here but this is kind of how you present yourself. Not only do you make some shallow contradicting statements, you also have a terrible spelling for someone that has UK in his nick. If people type dodgey, many people will assume the writer is a bit dodgey as well lol, it's just the way it goes.

To answer your question, yes DE HR is definately worth it. The amount of detail in the game is staggering, they really created an incredibly believable world, with all the bells and whistles to go along with it. Exceptional voice acting and music score as well.

This is sad news indeed. STALKER was by far one of my favorite games to date. The uniqueness is just unequalled.

Been playing for about 150 hours now and honestly, it's a great game, a good sequel to Oblivion but it's not GOTY material, mainly because of the poor way the aftermath was handled. And that the PS3 version was released at all. By giving it the GOTY award we kind of accept their half-assedness and that's wrong. I do however disagree with nearly all statements the OP makes, besides the bugs part. That's just hate to hate, not a objective opinion, TC comes off as a angry little kid that isn't allowed to play with his toys. Hopefully Bethesda will release the Creation Kit soon enough so the community can atleast set some things right.

Since legit buyers get more and more forced to use certain DRM measures I'm fairly sure the piracy is increasing, and will keep increasing. In fact, the more DRM they shove us down the throat the more piracy will become a problem ironically.

I do not get hyped for any game but I did anticipate Skyrim for several years.
