More flops I am assuming? Seriously, I am not impressed with any of the RPG's the 360 has to offer, I will leave that to my DS and PS2. Everything else I can enjoy on the 360 no problem. Can't wait to get one next week :D

For the 360 and PS3 all the new controllers will be compatible, however there is no confirmation on whether GH3 controllers will work with either version of Rock Band on the PS3.

Rock Band = loads of DLC for a reasonable price, much more legible music bars and you can actually tell what notes are hammer-ons. Downside is the flimsy guitars, but the drum and vocal aspect makes up for it, plus band tour mode is awesome. Rock Band 2 has a great online segment as well. Not getting rehashed to death with abysmal spinoffs like Aerosmith and an 80's version of Guitar Hero which was just a collection of horrible covers. Guitar Hero = milkage with already 5 installments over the course of 3 years and apparently more on the way. DLC is too expensive, some cover tunes are extremely horrible (vocals on Texas Flood for instance), GH3 was a complete wank fest that catered towards metalheads more then anyone else and was at times extremely annoying. Poorly implimented online system for the Wii with massive disconnect and freezing errors. Rock Band wins for consoles, Elite Beat Agents for handhelds.

Opinion =/= fact Maybe instead of whining about the games being crappy on the Wii, tell all the idiot parents around you not to buy the mediocre shovelware garbage so that developers actually get a clue, or write a petition for all the big name publishers not to put out the trash titles.

[QUOTE="DSgamer64"][QUOTE="radoman"]I think the TC has a good point. There is a massive market for christian rock, why wouldnt there be a market for christian games? As for a major dev producing one, credibility suicide.Stonin

Maybe because religious values are quickly drifting away from younger generations who can't be bothered with them and let's face it, teenagers are the primary buyers of video games and tend to be neutral towards religion.

No, people are moving away from Christianity but I think you'll find that Islam, amongst others, is fast gaining popularity. This is probably not reflected in American culture but then they are a tiny proportion of the people in this world. You are American correct?

How many people do you know have joined an Islamic religion recently? Cause I don't know anyone who would, I know people of various religions, my younger brother is Christian and that is fine, I am not religious and hate it when people try to push their ideals on me. Most people of an Islamic religion are born into it, they have no choice because their parents force them to follow it.

Honestly, do you really believe what you just wrote? Islam isn't big with your friends and family because you live in a pre-dominantly Christian society. You say most people of an Islamic religion are born into it but fail to mention that it is the same for almost every single religion on the planet. Islam is not special in this regard.

No, my parents tried to raise me Christian but I did not have much interest in it as a kid. I know people who were forced to go to Catholic schools yet they were not Catholics and did not believe in religion in some cases.

Keep religion out of gaming unless it is a fictive one set in the game's universe. Dreamfall: The Longest Journey is a good example of a game with a well-implemented in-game religion (and the criticism that comes with it is fun).ReddestSkies
Dragon Quest and Tales of Symphonia both use a fictive religion, in the case of DQ the Goddess is their religious figure but there really isn't anything related besides the way people speak when they thank you and saving your game requires going to a priest at a church.

I am sorry but adventure games can fall under a variety of categories, and by logic an adventure game is one where you travel across a world, and thus pretty much every game that isn't a shooter or RTS of some sort can fall under the Adventure category. So everything from Final Fantasy to Zack and Wiki to World of WarCraft, are by technicality adventure games.
