@spikepigeo @Agelu I'm a Wingnut myself. It's just that they have such brutally high expectations to meet. I hope they reach them. =P

As much as I want this game to deliver and be just plain awesome, I sincerely don't think that it'll be able to deliver all the hype surrounding it.

Don't get me wrong, I think it'll be GREAT, but expectations keep rising, and rising, and rising... it's getting out of hand.

You got to feel it for Chris Roberts. Money it's no longer a problem. Delivering a AAA game, making the game truly feel like it's worth $20M and the very revival of space combat sims games must have him nervous as hell.

@interrasteral7 @Agelu Heh. Actually my source of confusion was another. I meant Legends, the latest Rayman from Ubisoft, not Origins, the previous one.

Never meant an online service :P.

Good catch. Shame you can't edit comments...

Hopefully they really mean it and aren't just marketng Origins and their current/future Ubisoft games by saying this.

I for one truly believe in the console, at least.

Because Atari truly knows how to stay relevant, right?

The hypocrites. Nintendo is always "doomed", yet they here they are. Sure, it may not be so hot right now for them, but they have the resources and the talent to get over it, or at the worst, endure the bad times and try next gen again.

This game better freaking deliver.

If it does, it might surge a newfound interest in space sims. Like a good sequel to X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter that's long overdue. And I mean the sim games, not the arcade-y games.

Sigh. Since EA doesn't seem to like to take chances I doubt they'll ever release another SW flight simulator...

But then again, if Star Citizen if a success... maybe they'll react. I just hope it's a true space simulator like X-Wing was, not some arcade or rail shooter.

I find your lack of faith in SW gamers disturbing.

Sure, at first glance it might look horrible and devastating to Nintendo and whatever, but when you compare numbers they are actually recovering.

Last year's loss was of $458 million, and now we get a report of "just" $189 millions.

Hopefully next year they'll manage to profit.
