The only reason I'm buying a next gen console on launch day is so I can put it on ebay and watch all those idiots bid it up to over $1000 because they were too stupid to pre order one lol.
I'll probably get this during Steams summer sale. From what I have heard others say it isn't worth full price but as someone who played the crap out of RE2 back in the day I really want to see RE2 in current gen graphics at least.
Origin isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
As for us gamers we had a right to be upset over Mass Effects 3's ending because we were flat out lied to. I mean bioware said there would be dire consequences if we killed the Rachni Queen and the endings would be unique and it would not be just choose A,B , or C but both of those things weren't true. You can't lie to someone and expect them to be ok with it.
@LoganDaDestroya Sadly your probably right. I can see it now. Your playing as a stormtrooper having to listen to another Stormtrooper shout "common!!! this way!!!!! follow me!!!!!" and if you pay $14.99 you can get the DLC where Darth Vader tells you what to do instead lol.
Well I know it can be more of a hassle to release a MMO on consoles because of limits and rules about content set by the console maker. Plus since consoles have set standards that means the MMO can only push the limits of said console. That is why FFXI still looks the same, that game can only do what the ps2 can do just like DCUO will only be able to do what the ps3 can do.
good point, i didn't think of that. I just don't want a common theme to be publishers releasing 3 or 4 single player games to build up a fan base then switch to MMO to try and get more money.
Thats for sure. One day I noticed in my origin account dead space 2 and medal of honor were in my library even though I bought them on steam and also dragon age 2 was as well even though i bought it retail. So I contacted origin in a chat session and told the guy what I saw and if I could get all my other EA games added from steam. He asked for the cd keys and after a few minutes and making make a pogo account he added dragon age origins, dragon age awakening, mass effect 2, and dead space 1 to origin although for dragon age and mass effect 2 I still need the discs for some reason. Anyway he said they were having problems with mass effect 1 so just contact them a few days later. I do that, tell the guy what happened last time, give the cd keys for crysis, bad company 2, the sims 3, steam didnt list one for mass effect 1 and all the guy says is they don't add games from steam. I tried to tell him how originally medal of honor and dead space 2 were automatically added to my account and work just like mass effect 3 and old republic and how last time the other guy put the games on my origin account after I gave him my cd keys but nope all he said was he couldn't do it and then said he was closing the window if I didn't say anything new in 30 seconds.
Hmm I don't know how I feel about this. Never played the first 3, didn't get too far in Oblivion because I didn't enjoy it, and I bought Skyrim around Christmas time from a steam sale and while I think it is a good game I didn't enjoy it to the level everyone else has. I just hope this doesn't destroy the single player aspect of the series though because most likely we will never get a warcraft 4 or Knights of the Old Republic 3 because of MMO's.
At gamestop yesturday when people were walking in the staff was like "did you hear black ops 2 was announced, if you pre order you get a free double sided poster!!!!!" Nothing will ever beat pre ordering Wind Waker and getting Ocarina of Time free.
