Good, maybe if more people in the industry come out against companies like EA then no other game will have to suffer like Mass Effect 3 lol.

It looks pretty interesting but this is Activision after all. Its probably going to last 4 hours like every other COD. I'll wait for reviews before I decide for the price to drop and buy it lol

@Darnasian $59.95 for the Normandy toy and each of Shepards squadmates to get the true ending? That totally sounds like EA lol. @Superzone I get where your coming from. No way games like call of duty, battlefield, resident evil, assassins creed, etc will require toys but what about games like Zelda? That appeals to both kids and adults and a part of me sees nintendo requireing zelda action figures to get certain items or weapons. At least with Pokemon though the cards weren't required to unlock stuff in the game.

Oh fun. In addition to having to buy day 1 DLC and online passes we now need to buy toys to play our games. Could you imagine if EA was doing this with Mass Effect 3? "You want the good ending that makes sense? Only if you buy the Normandy Action play set with light up sound effects and all off Shepards crew!!! Each sold seperatly for $19.95 each"

Just imagine next gen "$50 DLC pass which includes the games voice acting, music, ending cutscene, side missions, and co op mode" This means of coarse that the base game you paid $70 for is just silent gameplay with only the main missions and nothing more because as the publishers will say "you don't need the music, voice acting, or even ending cutscene to enjoy the game, as long as you can play it and beat the play boss its all good"

@abompro A COD in during the civil war sounds pretty cool. Having to use differenent methods to take down your enemies because guns back then took longer to reload, no air strikes, no computers, no radio, no rocket launchers or other high tech weapons, that sounds like it could be quite interesting. Of coarse Activision will never do that because if the game isn't easy for the bro gamers and 10 year olds then they won't do it because lets be real, take frat boys and 10 years out of the picture and COD sales would be abysmall.

Why would any PC gamer buy this when we are getting the Portal 2 level creator for free?

If this was last gen and used games were this big a deal the publishers would be saying "ok people aren't buying our games new so we need our developers to add more stuff and up the quality of our games so people will want to buy them new" but with this gen and MP first, DLC, and updates its more like "how can we continue to the least amount of work possible but continue to get people to want to pay $60 for a new game"
