I had wii problems twice in row. It broke in dec 2007, a month after I got it, and I had to ship it to nintendo to get fixed. Then in november 2008 it broke again and I had to send it back to nintendo to get fixed. At least nintendo paid both times for shipping and the repairs were free.
I think a lot of people will be. I have been buying so many ps2 and game cube games I am the sole reason probably that all the gamestops in my area don't have any good ps2 or gamecube games left lol, if they do its because I already own them.
Interesting you bring up the witcher 2. I was looking how much the witcher 2 enhanced edition was on steam after it came out but steam said I already had it. I look in my library and its there. I noticed the witcher 2 had been updating earlier but I didn't know why but basically on pc the witcher 2 enhanced edition was a free upgrade if you had the original. Now there is no way Microsoft would have allowed that if the game came out on the 360 the same day as it did on pc last year, also the free arena DLC we got, that wouldn't have been free on 360 either I bet.
I can see where he is coming from. I think a more accurate way of putting it might be to say Xbox and wii has more child and casual gamers on it, because if you are a parent you are proably going to buy the cheaper console for your child and if you are casual you are not going to invest in a ps3.
